Georgie will always be a hero here for his goal at Gillingham which secured a last day promotion.

He works hard and has a knack of being in the right place at the right time.

Millers fans love the bloke, he is intelligent, articulate and very humble.
However, he has played under Warne, Taylor and now Richardson and never been given any sort of run of games by any of them.

Maybe he lacks belief in himself? Anyway I wish him all the best and would have preferred to loan him rather than sell him.

Hopefully he can team up with Kayode and form a good partnership for you.

Yeah hopefully. That’s if Kayode can ever get himself fit!

Can Kelly control a football or is he just a big lump?
Just trying to find out what type of player we’ve bought.

Think the bottom three are gone already tbh. Fleetwood and Carlisle have too much to do, Fleetwood seemed resigned to relegation with the clear out. Cheltenham had a slimmer of hope but I think that’s gone now judging by their signings tonight. They’re down.

So it looks like it’ll all come down to that last relegation spot. I reckon Reading will get themselves out of it and the two that I reckon it’ll be between is Port Vale and Wycombe. Looks like it’s gonna be a good dogfight this year with so many teams involved.

Just signed Conor McGrandles back from Charlton on loan. He's the experienced midfielder Skubala has been wanting.

Will need to win over some fans with the way he left, stating he wanted to had back closer to Scotland, to end up at Charlton.

Depends on what happens in the next hour, all be it our general form isn’t that bad 3 wins in 8 and have dropped largely due to not playing. Our PPG is higher than most of the bottom half based on that.

Our survival will depend on Ojo getting back in the next couple of weeks and signing a striker to replace the injured Uche, otherwise today has made me feel a bit more at ease.

And now we're letting Liam Smith go to Grimsby, despite only having one other right wing back in the team.

WTF is going on!!

Eh? Argyle used to hate us as we were their bogey team for ages, now we’ve just signed from them:

Matt Butcher (CM) - permanent
Saxon Earley (LB - fabulous name, was at Norwich as a kid so hoping he’s got a proper yokel accent)

and we’re apparently set to sign Nigel Lonwijk (CB) on loan from Wolves, who was on loan at Argyle last season.

How did we just turn into Argyle Rejects FC?

Lights on at Vale Park, an image on twitter shows someone in there that looks similar but may not be Charlie Wyke…

Assuming nothing else happens late on, I’m pretty pleased with our window.

We brought in three players with bags of L1 and Championship experience (Purrington, Eisa and Woods) along with three young’uns. Of those, Harris has slotted in and looks good but we’ll have to see it Alli can make the step up. Cummings is one for the future.

In terms of outs, we’ve lost Trevitt which is a blow but otherwise only losing Scott who’s not been good enough, so I’d say we’re much stronger overall.

We should be good enough to stay up, but don’t want to rest on our laurels just yet.

Well thats been a fun end to the window.

Aaron Drinan has been sold to Swindon

We've then brought in two young attacking players on loan: Khaydon Edwards from Arsenal and Daniel Adu-Ajei from Bournemouth.

Fleetwood have now completed their 5th deadline day signing and you'll have to go on our website if you want to see who they are - hahaha. Charlie Adam has certainly been busy, looks like we are going down fighting and not with a whimper.

We've had an absolute stinker. We've arguably got worse overall in the past 2 weeks. DC must be nailed on manager of the season if he keeps us up with this squad.

We started the transfer window like we wanted to have a go.

But with results not improving and the team getting beat every week, I think the club have now accepted relegation.

No way would we have sold Moxon if we had any survival hopes. I also think we would have went all in for some real quality to improve the midfield and defence this week but we have not.

Fleetwood have done similar. Both clubs know they are 100% down and to be honest I think it’s a sensible approach. Why waste money now on the impossible? Save it for a good go at League 2 next season.

Two very good signings today for us but no striker it seems so Uche out until late April, Wilson always a knock away from weeks out, Ryan Loft not up to this level and a 16 year old kid who’s not ready yet are our options.

Great…

Got a couple strikers through the door this window which was the key. Harris has said we've gotten very close to various signings but lost out last minute nearly half a dozen times this month, and didn't get his 4th man today so there'll be some disappointment but I think it's been an ok month.

Taylor and Bonne have had a good partnership before, so hopefully they can feed off the scraps our midfield creates. Once a few injuries return the squad will look fairly competitive.

Literally can’t remember a January window this busy.

No excuses though - despite our manager’s dubious performance this far, he can’t say he hasn’t been backed to the hilt for signings.

In:
Gideon Kodua - winger (loan - West Ham)
Richard Kone - striker
Chem Campbell - winger (loan - Wolves)
Beryly Lubala - striker
Matt Butcher - centre mid
Saxon Earley - left back (loan - Plymouth Argyle)
Nigel Lonwijk - centre back (loan - Wolves)

Out...
Lyle Taylor - CF (released)
Kian Breckin - CM (recalled loan - Man City)
Killian Phillips - CM (recalled loan - Crystal Palace)
Harry Boyes - LB (recalled loan - Sheff Utd)
Richard Keogh - CB

Seems pretty clear a stellar striker for this level was at the club tonight for a few hours who won promotion with a Yorkshire outfit last season but it’s either fell through or being announced tomorrow. Would assume with the raging of the fan base on social media if it had gone through it would be announced tonight

Looks like the paper work for Matt Smith didn’t go through in time. Absolute disaster, that keeps us up comfortably but think we are done now.

We’ve signed Jay Matete on loan until the end of the season, pleased with that one.

Scored twice against us at least Fleetwood and Grimsby off the top of my head and looked quality
Good signing

Another player that has looked good at other clubs and awful at us. Just didn't work out for him, was injured after signing and when he did play he clearly had no confidence.

He actually looked pretty good when he did play this season but weirdly scored a last minute equaliser to pompey and didn't celebrate

It's very much in DC we trust - of course it is.

But we've strengthened the midfield - there's no doubt about that. We've also only lost a player who seems to be perma-crocked. The replacements up front don't fill me with hope, but it's not like we're replacing Alfie is it?

I still think we'll be ok - today's signing could be interesting (It'll probably be a right-back, haha)

Lump on us to go down at 9/1. Like printing money.
Disaster and what a signing it would have been but why did have all our eggs in one basket? We were told strikers would be coming in but how on earth is Wilson going to play Saturday-Tuesday for 3 months largely with his injury record. He gets injured and his history would suggest at some point he will we are done.

A relegation that was completely avoidable and certain people must take responsibility. Flickers time is up for me, he hasn't even got a youngster in to replace Josh Thomas just to give us numbers.
