Rumours that Oxford are signing Greg Leigh from us. Would be sad to see him go as he's great back up to Davis but can understand that he will want to play more regularly. I assume that means we have a new signing imminent. Greg Leigh is a great player, would be a very good signing for Oxford for sure.

I’m now of the opinion that if we’re offered anything like that, we should take it and move on. MK are allegedly due a fair chunk of any fee so we’d only accept north of £1M I suspect.

I like Harrison but he's never going to go down as one of our greats. He's just adequate for me but my concern is whether we can adequately replace him. Wins a lot of headers and works hard but his finishing is very iffy. His form ( and in fairness the team's form) fell off rapidly after about 15 games.

I'd be pretty relaxed about him leaving if we had a target style striker as a backup.

Yeah agreed. A club might decide to gamble and offer us a fee we can’t turn down. I can see him going, personally. Barnsley would be a good move for him if the rumour is genuine.

They definitely need some experience. They're actually pretty good going forwards but their back line is very jittery.

Same as last season, threatening on the wings but limp up top. They got rid of the liability Inniss but still look shaky when you attack them.
Id definitely take Blackett-Taylor and Dobson off their hands though

Blackett Taylor is very good but his final product is often way off the mark
If he improves that he could play higher. They just look so naive and inexperienced across the pitch.

Kian Harratt being linked online with a loan move to us from Huddersfield, broke into their side and scored for Warnock.

Obviously would be a return to us after his loan 2 seasons back and his status in folklore at the club with his opener in the Play Off Final.

Would have him as a fourth striker but would need a target man still, especially if Harrison goes.

Finland U20 International, had a spell on loan at AFC Wimbledon last season, and I think has made 1 appearance for Fulham in a cup tie at Crawley.

Looks like we are signing Brandon Williams which will be the catalyst for Greg Leigh's move to Oxford.

Our fans are definitely sweating whether Charlie Methven is ... I can't imagine we can really afford the likes of Nombe or JCH.
Our lack of activity has been pretty worrying, 4 weeks since our last signing and given we only have one fit senior striker it has really cost us.
We usually manage to get a couple really strong premier league loans in but we haven't dipped into that market yet.
Definitely a big few days ahead of us before the window shuts

It sounds like we could be making a couple of signings today, definitely one in Tyrese Fornah anyway. He should give us a bit of energy in midfield that we criminally lack - Hourihane and Bird are technically good footballers but not exactly the type to get around the pitch. Smith is the hired ‘legs’ in that area of the pitch, but truth be told all are very one paced. Fornah will hopefully be able to stop us from being so susceptible to counter attacks.

Claims on our forum that he was at our training ground yesterday with his agent. Haven't a clue if true or not.

Hopefully you get the Brandon Williams signing done soon if that is the hold up. It would be a pleasant novelty for us to have 2 right backs and 2 left backs at the same time.

Cole in fairness was superb on the day, they didn't create much but everything went in! Did like the look of their right winger mind.
