Sarcevic leaving us now, disappointing but not a massive surprise as we're supposedly having a more youth-focused reset this season. He's likely to head to Bradford

I was surprised he played the amount of games he did for you last season (on league 2 forum) he’s not all that and he wouldn’t be league 1 standard, you’ll be fine.

Hopefully with fast attacking wing play, plenty of crosses into the opposition box and decent forwards getting in where it hurts.

I can't stand watching all this tippy tappy stuff, passing for passing sake, it drives me mad.

Football should be exciting, last season we were so boring to watch, it wasn't the losing so much as the lack of adventure that got me down.
Ben Tozer will complete your dream team.............Would shut my curtains if Rotherham were playing in my back garden.

You certainly wont be playing tippy tappy next season

Really hoping for an Oxford win now so that you can sort your curtains out ready for next season.

Sounds like we are just trying to agree a fee, sell on clause etc for Lewis Brunt with Leicester which would be really good news if we get it over the line.

Having signed JCH earlier in the week, SE announced two more signings subject to medicals next Monday and Tuesday.

No names yet but it's thought one is a decent GK to replace Viktor Johansson who will join Stoke very soon.

Hopefully one will be a fast winger who can cross a decent ball into the box.

Stockport looking at splashing out a million pound on that Barry kid. Can anyone else compete with them next season?

Hoping to make great strides rather than steps after last year's abomination but thanks for your insight.

May I suggest some high quality Venetian blinds?

James McClean giving more fuel to the Humpfrys rumours, putting photos up with him on Instagram. Still can't see where he fits

Makes sense we need strengthening down the left.

Any Burton on here? We’re being linked to Joe Powell. What’s he like?

We had him on loan ages ago from West Ham and you could tall he had talent on the ball. I believe he is one of their most creative players but much more suited to ball on the deck which Paterson is definitely not a believer in so far.

I assumed he would go to a big L1 side at some point so feel like it would be a very good signing for any newly promoted side. Happy for Burton fans to correct me otherwise though!

I say we’re being linked, it’s just come from a post on our forum but the poster has been right in the past and is pretty confident in us signing him.

I think he was one of the few Burton player capable of passing a football, can't imagine they'd have seen the best of him last season. Wouldn't say he was a stand-out player whenever he's come up against us but always seemed one of their better players (central midfield I think?).

Joe Rafferty from Portsmouth seems likely as one of the new signings TBA today or tomorrow.

A 30 year old RFB or RWB is all I've got, he seems to have been a regular this season, is he any good Pompey and PNE fans?

Shocking in the Championship but Pompey fans said he's decent at this level.

RWB implies he can run, he has the acceleration of a shoe box.

That’s potentially good news then, happy days. Nice to see us getting some creative players in and we do play passing football.

Seems like it’ll be Shaun McWilliams from us

Rafferty is quality and one of the best right backs in the division. Solid defensively and can whip in a decent cross too. I think his character will also be a good fit for Steve Evans shithousery. I hope he does well for you.

He's from my neck of the woods in East London, used to be at West Ham.

IMO he is by far Burtons best player.

Was hoping we'd be in for him myself, but you'll probably offer him a better deal and he won't have to move.

Not the first time Mansfield would pip us to a target, Oli Hawkins and Harim Boateng were both on our radar as well when you signed them.

I was hoping we'd be in for him if we got promoted so we could've had both the Powell brothers. But there's no way he's dropping to League Two.

Tbh the one thing we’ve got along with location is the pull of nigel clough, you hear it all the time from players saying it was the thing that swayed them.

Ironically sponsors boatengs home shirt as does Richard Cranium now.

Boateng will do just fine, not sure hawkins would be a decent league 1 player if honest so probably got away with one there.

Not heard the McWilliams one up this end, most of the speculation is that it's George Byers.

The ITKer from our forum has suggested that you guys have signed someone from us. Evans tried to get McWilliams at Stevenage when he was out of contract previously so think most are putting 2+2 together. Honestly, id be surprised if a team contending at the top end of L1 was after him personally.
