Rathbone is obviously a quality addition, but we aren't lacking quality in midfield. It's up top where we're light.

He was ok but not very consistent.
He's got a trick or two but often disappeared during games.

Remember that was in the Championship and he did play a part in keeping us up that season so he should be decent enough in this league.

11 now, we lost 7 out of contract in the summer, plus Longelo Bacuna and now Jordan James likely to leave to.

we are speculated we need 4 ish more to come in before the window closes

He looks a unit and had an excellent season with Crewe before signing for Blackburn in Jan for £500k.

We’re linked with him. Looks very quick and skilful, can play as a winger, wing back or CAM apparently so would be handy from that perspective. I’m hearing the usual ‘very highly rated’ chatter from West Ham fans who’ve seen him in their u23s, but no nothing about him!!

Some had release clauses in their contract that the buying club met. The club turned down a few bids for Liam Kelly until the buying club met the valuation.
We signed unknown players like Lolos, Orsi who was a not prolific at Grimsby. Lolos did well as did Orsi and their clause were met.
Some of the players held the club to ransom after promotion asking for three year contract extensions. What they have got to remember that they are easily replaced being league 1 & league 2 players.

All of the released players and loan players are not league 1 standard.
