Charlie Colkett recalled by Chelsea. A real shame.
Disappointed because he has so much promise, but his form has dipped recently and he didn't thrive alongside any of our other central midfielders. Think the final straw for Chelsea was seeing Liam Lawrence and Lee Mansell get in ahead of him at Charlton!

Lookman signs for Everton, believed to be in the region of £7.5mil rising to £11mil with add-ons. Makes it the biggest ever transfer for a League One player.

The signing of Jake Forster-Caskey has also been confirmed. Signs on a 2 and a half year deal for an undisclosed fee, I know Rotherham fans only have negative things to say about him but hopefully with the drop in level and working with Robinson again we can see the best of him.

Nooo I've wanted JFC on a perm since we signed him on loan, genuinely gutted you've got him. Take care of him, he was one of the only shinin lights for me in our championship season.

Reckon you lot will sign Jay Simpson of Orient. Could swear MK were linked in summer when Robinson was there and you have the funds..

Fucking money bags Spotters.

Wish we had rich owners. ;)

I know you jest but I can't imagine we paid that much for him, he is out of contract in the summer and was already on a season-long loan at Rotherham anyway. My guess is that Brighton got an offer and just accepted knowing he's going to be surplus to requirements if they go up next year and just took whatever money was offered.

Possibly, I know he's unhappy there. I doubt Robinson is going to see much of the Lookman money but we shall see.

I have it on good authority that Simpson will be signing for Bristol Rovers.

Final straw for Chelsea -- I'm just getting over that as well. I don't blame Chelsea at all. Worst footballing day of my life at the Valley last Monday
and I was at the Tottenham 9-0

He's on 6 large a week at Orient - and he has a tent phobia!

Worryingly the strongest rumour around OUFC is Appleton to England U21's manager.

Charlton fans, what can we expect from Kevin Foley?

Don't want to be over critical as he only played 15 games and not all of those were starts.

He was played in midfield a fair few times and was useless to be honest, struggled to keep up. Solid enough back-up right back I suppose but Karl Robinson was opting for a teenage CB over him at RB when Solly was injured so read into that what you will.

He won't be missed but decent enough squad player and I assume only contracted until end of the season?

Reece Brown Back at Bury apparently until the end of the season. Hope he's better than his last spell here.

*No Official confirmation yet*

Yes but with an option to extend a further year.

Will be used as our first choice right back so doesn't sound too promising although Slade must have seen something in him to sign him again.

We played him on the right of a 3 up front and it didn't suit his game but he still scored a lot. Hard to say what system would suit him best, he's maybe a Griezmann sortta player. Scored some pretty smart goals for us, if you work around him he could get you tons.

Seems suited cutting in from out wide as he isn't he strongest possibly as didn't do as well when up front in terms of goals.

Scored ten for us including 3 penalties, may work feeding off Hanson well, time will tell. Expect he will get you 8-10 before the end of the season if he repeats his form with us.

Brown did alright with us back in the day. He never improved his game then?

Yeah, was going to say Slade must like him.

As I've said, would be harsh for me to really criticise him based on only 15 games, most of which he played out of position.

Target man?,fox in the box?,winger?,has he got pace?,will he get the goals to fire us to promotion?.

Target man? No

Fox in the box?- Without doubt

Winger?- Has played on the right of a front 3 for us generally but i think he would be better as a 2nd striker, playing of a big hulking lummox of a centre forward, now if only you had one of them...

Pace? He's not lightning quick but he certainly has a sharp turn of pace

Will he get the goals? If used correctly i have no doubt, looks a natural goalscorer and finisher to me.

Put it this way- i wish he was signing for us and not you!

We're after bringing back Le Fondre apparently. I'd be more than happy with that.

A Orient supporting friend of mine. Normally legit.
I don't doubt you were told this but I didn't think Clark was looking for a new forward ( even though he should be )
But our priority should be a new goalie 2 new midfielders and a centre back.
