Trust me I know all about Sawyers, I've missed 3 games in the past 2 seasons

He's a player that divides opinion so much. 2/3's love him and think he is the best player in the club with great talent, and the other 1/3 think he is utter gash and doesn't do enough. Sawyers is frustrating in that he picks up the ball and carries it in behind the striker, but hardly scores himself and the assists have dry spells. He also ducks out of a lot of challenges and you'll never see him stick a foot in and risk getting hurt.

That being said no-one in our team can carry the ball and create space like he does. A portion dislike him so much they'd probably let you have him on a free :ffs:

Sawyers is a fantastic player, but also a really frustrating one.
Anyway good luck with the rest of your season, got a few former Donny players. What do you think of James O'Connor?

Tell you what, you can have Sawyers and we'll even throw in Dean Smith for a new manager for the measly price of £1m!

O'Connor has been SHOCKING at full back, I mean a 18 year old youth CM playing RB in his debut season did better at RB than him. At CB however he's been quite good actually, not sure whether we want to keep him next season, he was certain to be released before we started to play him at CB.

I'll take O'Connor back any day he was brilliant for us at both full back and centre half, he had so much passion which is what we've been lacking this season.

And I'm not sure about Dean Smith, I always thought he was a good manager, but heard that a lot of Walsall fans dislike him, but I'm happy with Dickov...at the moment.

O'Connor was one of O'Dismal's better signings before he got injured at Swindon - we were in a very low place..

Whichever league Walsall are in next season, Tom Bradshaw to leave? Better league one club or championship?

He was rumoured to be wanted by Doncaster, Sheff Utd, Rotherham and Wednesday in the January window.

I have a feeling he will join one of the relegated championship clubs next season. Rotherham or Blackpool maybe.
Can't see Blackpool being prepared to spend. I could see him going to Rotherham, even if they do stay up, as we are rumoured to have some clause in Johnson Clarke-Harris' contract that we can buy him on a permanent basis.

Bradshaw is a proven goal-scorer. I would have him at MK any day of the week, he has three goals against us this season. He is prone to injury so whether a championship side would be interested in him is a different matter.

If he picks up some goal scoring form in the last few games then I wouldn't be surprised if one of the promoted teams went for him, like Bristol City, as they lost out on Eoin Doyle and Freddie Sears, also Wednesday desperately need a striker, and were interested in Bradshaw in January, but I wouldn't be surprised if MK Dons did go for him if they get promoted (which I think they will via play offs) as over the last few seasons they've had some brilliant strikers scoring goals but they've all been on loan, maybe they'll get him in on a permanent basis.

Getting Grigg on a permanent is vital for us. We have lost out with loans so many times and Winkleman now needs to open his wallet and fork out for someone permanent. If we want to progress as a club we cannot keep letting good loaned players leave in January.

Bradshaw has the problem of being injury prone, this is like his 5th spell out with a hamstring injury this season, which will help us in keeping him. We'd also demand a large fee.

I'm surprised RavenBish hasn't been on, breaking down about Chesterfield signing Rai Simons.
Our website was hilarious. 'Chesterfield sign INTERNATIONAL STRIKER!....... Bermudan international Rai Simons! from non-league Ilkeston FC'

Bermuda has a lower population than Chesterfield ffs!

Bradshaw isn't a proven goalscorer.

He has hit a purple patch in his career and it's worked for him, that doesn't mean he is a proven goal scorer. Look at his record at Shrewsbury, he barely scored. I wouldn't want my club to splash out on him.

Agree with this. I remember Shrewsbury fans saying he wasn't good enough last season.

I think all Swindon fans have accepted he's leaving them in the summer mate.

Yep, even if we get promoted, Luongo will be off. He's simply far too good for us.

Four Premier League teams (Palace, West Ham, QPR and Villa) reportedly interested too.

Foderingham off if you don't go up and Kasim & also Obika (highly likely) to leave.

Not a dig, but unless you go up, pretty much your whole team will be different next season.

This isn't ground breaking news fella. We've been discussing it for months.

I meant proven in the sense he will guarantee to get goals for your team. Has shown he has quality this season despite injuries.

Yeah but where has that quality been in proven years?

I said that about Doyle at Chesterfield but wouldn't necessarily say it's the same with Bradshaw. His previous stats are a bit deceiving because it includes a lot of apps from when he came through as a youngster. He's had about two full seasons really, last year in a struggling Shrews' side.

Doyle's scored all of 1 goal for Cardiff so far, and our ppg ratio is higher since he left than with him.
Looks like we did a decent deal after all :)

Remember when all your fans were devastated after the loss and how you wouldn't pick up another point this season and I told you all how everything will be alright cause you're a strong team. I believed.

I think Bradshaw's injury record might put off potential suitors especially if the Saddlers want decent money for him. For his age, he seems to be injured a hell of a lot. Good player though.
