Well said.

Had Trains been running then it would easily have broken 2,000. If you look at Cov’s average it often beats most of League One and half of the Championship. Given the shit we continue to have to put up with I think it’s remarkable....yes we are a relatively big club but don’t underestimate the effect our demise has had on the average fan.

If we continue to perform in the top six or move into the top three then you will see the away support grow significantly in the second half of the season.

The Coventry support was decent and personally, I thought it looked a little over 2000, not under.

Who is making any 'big club' claims? I merely said that 1700 in the 4th division, midway through a season in a relatively low profile fixture at a ground we've visited 4 years on the bounce (or is it 5, can't recall) is 'decent'. We're only pulling in 6000 for some home games at the minute given all the shit surrounding the club. A few people predicted higher because when tickets went on sale, we've just sold full allocations at Lincoln and Luton in hours, so felt this was an opportunity to take a large following. It didn't really turn out that way. A few years ago in League 1 we took 3000+ to your place, the following year it was 1000. That's just how it is.
