We've managed it a couple of times this season as well (Grimsby was one). I'm not sure how it's even possible.

The allocation on clubs websites is usually net of player comps etc, they give the saleable number not the full allocation.

Yeah we did too at Chesterfield think it was around 2400ish sold beforehand with no pay on the day, then announced on the day as 2650.
