Just remind me, how long did you have that brick wall at the meadow lane end of the bround before the existing stand was built? :animatedf:

:10:

Quite used to having 3 stands now, even if still an eyesore. As said, Oxford are a league above and only have 3 stands, so it's hardly a reflection on them for instance!

Fair round of applause to any Exeter fans coming up tonight. Freezing cold and just done the 289 mile trip to Morecambe on Saturday as well.

I'd chip and give Notts and Mansfield some hammer but I think we will have our lowest home turn out of the season on Sunday

Exeter have 2 at the minute.

Could claim Morecambe really only have 3 sides.

Certainly.

There was a ground in Euro 2004 - still in use now - in Portugal where there were only 2 stands - home now to braga in their top division, it holds 30,000!.

I think that sufficiently puts to bed any childish talk on whether it's relevant to have 4 stands or not.

I'd love to go also, looks beautiful.

(Ps (not having a go) if worse does come to the worse there's probably plenty of 3 sided grounds in the conference)

So Mansfield , Oxford and maybe Morecambe but possibly not?!?

Obviously if the three sides aren’t close to being full every other Saturday and never fill those to maximum I guess it doesn’t really matter, financially.

It just looks awful, I won’t say tinpot like others would but definitely bad. If the spare side is a nice pleasant hill, maybe some dense woodland or better still a beach or mountain. Nice, gorgeous, possibly unique.

But if it’s a bus stop , if it’s an ugly eye sore for those sat opposite doesn’t it detract a little from the overall footballing experience at those grounds?

A third (and likely 4th when we play Luton, unless they go full Devon Loch) away sell out of the season at ML would be something. Good effort Cov.

We also sold out. A smaller allocation but we sold all the tickets you sent us.

The only person who seems to have mentioned, probably hundreds of times is you. It doesn't really bother me, and I go each week. The only fans sat opposite it are Mansfield fans, so doesn't even cause away fans so much of a bother lol. There aren't masses of other fans all moaning about it. I can't see many?

If you only see it once a season for your annual loss at field mill, just don't go. Maybe looking st it could make things easier when yet again Notts lose. You won't then need to endlessly repeat the same claptrap about something no-one cares about. There you go, simple. Everyone's a winner

Our open away end is almost universally empty - especially in L2. Of course it doesn’t look good, it what the heck.

The wrangle between our owner and Supporters Trust over who will buy the ground off the council should, at least, lead to a roof over it. Maybe like the one at Fratton Park.

It's exactly the same for us though. Cheap tickets and we get '28,000'. Few weeks later and we're back to 7000.

Lower league clubs struggle to attract fans for many reasons, tickets in the mid £20s are one of them.
You've got divvy owners as well.

Don’t be so touchy Adam, I mention it far less than you mentioning regular beating Notts, that your ex manager who jilted you at the altar past record as a manager at other club (lol) and you travelling down from......... Manchester .

Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Lots of people do it on here, look around

A Sheffield Wednesday fan in a League Two away attendance thread. ?? :dk:Yep why wouldn’t you?! :ffs:

When it's this Sheffield Wednesday fan that trawls through your inane shit to dig out the numbers and produce the statistics that many on here seem fond of....

Are grounds with 3 sides worthy of being in the same numbers of those with a full compliment

It seems to be more of an issue for him than it does for us.

He seems to get a massive hard on for us with his obessed posts. Please can someone inform him our main rivals are Chesterfield, not Notts, and to get over us.

I feel sorry for the other Notts fans, who may i add are a decent bunch, having to scroll through his posts.

Not an issue just find it funny. Go on tell me you don’t see any humour in it?
It’s like some Mansfield fans find Alan Hardys debt funny seems to get their juices going currently , or always beating your non rival Notts, semi inducing. It’s all good.

You talk like Stags fans don’t post on Notts match threads this season that have no link to them. Don’t worry you aren’t alone, seen it with Imps/Grimsby fans, Vale and Crewe, and many others. It’s fine it’s the norm for a football forum. A championship club fan posting on this thread ? Less so.

Grab a mirror and you will see obsessions in your own ranks. Posting regarding recent Chesterfields troubles a prime example. Arguing with Lincoln fans about attendances or lack of.

Don’t take it so serious it’s a game , it’s a forum, it’s the internet.

Trust me there is plenty . And I mean plenty to laugh at Mansfield about , as you all know

See what I mean. There's nothing to the posts but some drivel and then they'll be another post about this about more drivel.

Imagine what he'd be like if they actually ever won.

OMG Adam, time of month? Still? You are such a delicate flower on here.

Win something ? What like Football Conference Champions?

You keep on posting fountain of knowledge? Ignore all questions? And repeat, repeat, repeat! It’s what you do. Oh and don’t forget to mention you now live in Manchester

Thanks Andy I knew there was another one.

52 Colchester fans in a crowd of 893 at Morecambe...

Apparently that's the fourth lowest Football League crowd we've ever played in front of.

Exeter and Forest Green turn outs were very respectable.
