Because this is the away support thread.

If it doesn't matter to you you why bother reading and posting in it?

Because it’s splitting hairs! What is going to happen if the average away following for Coventry City is 20 fans higher or lower than the actual figure that my main man Jim reports? Worse things happen at sea

Had 6 months in that neck of woods last year. Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia were my highlights.

Off to Phillipines via Langkawi in Feb also, never been there before but planning El Nido, Corun and maybe Boracay at the moment

Great choice Spire you can’t go wrong with the Palawan/ Boracay area. Although El Nido and Coron are nice enough , I highly recommend Port Barton if you have the time and I don’t mind a bumpy ride from El Nido or Puerto Princesa. I was there earlier this year had an amazing time, and did one of the best things I’ve ever done on all my travels (Tao Sailing)

If it included cup figures it would be significantly higher.

I would, however, probably agree with your figures out of the two.
I can appreciate you’ve been a member here and active here for some time.
I haven’t even bothered looking into the figures however the one I looked at first was incorrect only because I knew that game we only had 350 tickets .
That’s hardly a solid base to build from no disrespect to SWFC .
And even then another forum poster posted yet more conflicting figures
Your siding with a forum member who takes numbers from random posters over a club historian who keeps facts and figures based on the club all the way back to the foundation.

It’s also worth pointing out Jim brown as released books on the club and the facts and statistics of its past .
I’d find it hard to believe jim could release books called “Coventry city an illustrated history “if he didn’t have exact facts and figures , odd don’t you think .
A little hilarious you dismiss his version of the season , hope your not a cop lol

I believe what Jim Brown says, but the figures published by Southey show no mistakes.

Apart from the Exeter one fella, that was 60 too many, it's been amended.

Do you not have the figures in the Programme which would end any debate.

So Luton take more away on average than Morecambe get at home... has that ever happened before in the FL for teams in the same league?

It will happen next year in League 1 as well with Sunderlands away support compared to Accringtons home support.

Do you lot mind, you're making me jealous. I'm unable to fly anymore now due to an operation I had a few years back and can't visit all these amazing places! Well, I suppose I could do but I'd have to take 3 months off work and go on a round the world cruise! :bg:

Do it Les, my parents have done two 'Round The World' cruises (spending my inheritance) and they loved them both.

I think the 3 months off work would be a bit of a sticking point! :bg:

Amazing to see we now have nothing 'to play for' but we have only around 100 tickets left for our last game of the season at Forest Green, allocation was 991.

I suppose everyone is so pleased we've stayed up and want to show their support to the man (Mr Jolley). Season ticket sales seem to be going well too. The futures bright, the futures Black & White!

Morecambe have apparently sold about 80 tickets for Saturday. Even for a club of their size, I'm surprised it's not higher. Huge game for both sides.

How many are the Champions likely to bring to Swindon on Saturday, on their two previous visits they've brought 80 & 119.

I know they have nothing to play for now, but expecting a few more on Saturday.

For those that do come down, the inevitable booing won't be aimed at you :)

Cheers i'll bare them in mind. After a few months in Laos, Burma and Cambodia i'm all for a bumpy ride where needed.

Only booked KL, Langkawi and Manilla + onward flight to Puerto Princesa so far so will look into Port Barton definitely.

Please do mate, its small, it’s basic, its cheap, it’s beautiful, it’s the best mix ive experienced between locals and travellers anywhere! And it has access to simply incredible beaches and snorkelling if that’s your thing.

Best £10 I’ve ever spent in Asia.

The area was recommended to me by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. My original plan was to fly into PP and then straight to El Nido. So glad I didn’t .

Enjoy .

Anyway back to the all important away attendance figures, and the truly gripping Coventry City season average debate.

Yeovil have sold around 300 for tomorrow, which I think is a very decent effort all things considered.

748 Morecambe at Coventry, over 50% of their average home gate, excellent effort.

That's pathetic actually, not excellent. And 748 is circa 99.9888% of their recent home gates not 50%.
