I believe the current LOOK HOW MASSIF WE ARE standings are:

1. Lincoln
2. Luton
3. Coventry

So potentially two spots to fill next season.

While on the topic of being MASSIVE, can I just point out that Luton's following at Notts Cty on Sat was the HIGHEST away following in ALL FOUR DIVISIONS last weekend.

Wow, I mean Wow. Beat that tinpotters

(I'm told that using capitals and bold print enhances the massiveness)

Very good, only 15k sold for the Ricoh including away fans though is poor no?
We have Finally opened the North Stand behind the goal, well 2 blocks. And pay on gate is the whole of the Notth Stand. So I reckon we will be well over 20k on the day. For 4th Division, that’s good.

Well done on doing the stats for the season. Just wondering on when you work out the percentage of home fans taken away do you use the average home attendance or the net home fans figure.

Luton, Lincoln and ourselves have an average which puts us above the likes of Bristol City, Norwich, Ipswich and QPR. Albeit they have more expensive tickets, our three clubs have sold out significantly smaller away stands than the ones in the Championship.

It's a bugger to get anywhere from Norwich though. You have the advantage of being in the centre I things.

Very true, but they also have the joy of going to far better grounds with far better away ends.

Including our two cup games at Brighton and MK Dons, and including the 4500 going to Notts County next week, we will have averaged around 1770 away fans across the season.

Most are just generic and bland to be fair.

Some are, but it's more attractive to visit the likes of Leeds, Villa, both Sheffield clubs, Forest than Forest Green, Stevenage and Morecambe (no disrespect to those clubs).

Good numbers for all 3 of those League 2 sides BUT 3 of those others mentioned have a hell of a lot of travelling to do. (Although Bristol City do come out in a fever when they have to go up North).
Norwich particularly travel well, when you look at numbers they take away and compare it to the numbers of those who travel to them. So a bit harsh imo.

Sorry I'm so late with this - it probably doesn't matter now in the grand scheme of things.
A lad who runs a guess the attendance competition on our forum rang Swindon up and got the figure - those who said 400 were very accurate!

Leeds must be the only Stadium where you can't actually sit in the seat due to lack of legroom. I don't know how anyone over 5'5" manages it.

You ever been in the away end at Luton? Similar here, there’s about 6 inches between the end of your seat and the start of the one in front!

Luckily, I like to stand

Yep, but Leeds was worse.

At the time, their away end was behind the goal, slightly to the left of it.

Agree. Coupled with the fact that Leeds stewards clamped down on anyone standing, even though half their fans did so...

Yeah, I had that as well.

Tried my best to explain that, at 6'2", it was actually impossible for me to sit in my seat (along with most others around me). Then they threatened to eject me and given we were only two minutes into the game, we came to a compromise and sat on the seat without folding it down.

Great work.

Mansfield were obviously helped by the County, Chesterfield followings but that’s a great effort still.

We've always travelled decently well for our size. Must be us all wanting to get out of Mansfield for the day :err:

I didn’t realise how impressive Lincoln’s away numbers were. Lincoln fans - if you don’t manage to go up, can you see yourself maintaining those numbers - basically is it weighted on the fact you’re on a bit of a roll these last couple of seasons?

Only reason I ask is that I was hopefully we might actually challenge for top spot for something for once (if Coventry went up at your expense btw)!

Reckon the Trannies will be up there next season too.
