All 20 of you?Thank you for that. I'll be sure to pass it to the other supporters tomorrow. I'm sure they will be as devastated as I am.

All 20 of you?
Not sure you understand the concept fella. Both teams would have got hardly any money from a Wembley final due to how the break up of cash works for these finals. Teams would have earned a lot more in the run up than they would in the final. When YOU are playing at home YOU will get the majority of the income.Ridiculous stance to have when even AFC bring 3,000 to us in my opinion. How many of those 'boycotting' were a part of the 20,000 that went to Wembley for the JPT final?
1) We love it. It gives us an 'us against the world' feeling that honestly has helped us since 2004. As for the next point about prem clubs, you're right that for the most part they don't care. You'll get the odd few fans from clubs that either had a soft spot for the original Wimbledon or played us in League 1/2 a few years back that keep the same opinions, but even in the Championship not many fans cared unless they'd been down in L1/2 for years while we were there.
As for your second point, there are more Wimbledon FC fans than anybody would like to admit. Personally I'm pure MK, I was 5 when the move was agreed and 7 when Wimbledon moved, so it's all I've really known. Others didn't care about football before the move and got into it through MK, and then as MK is a London overspill city you'll get a lot of people with London teams that just can't afford to go there that have fallen for the club.
Not sure you're quite correct there. Not sure you understand the concept fella. Both teams would have got hardly any money from a Wembley final due to how the break up of cash works for these finals. So the difference in paying to see your team in a cup final at Wembley is MASSIVELY different from paying to watch your team at a soulless stadium with soulless fans (although there is a very handy ikea next door to be fair)

Stand to be corrected, but I'm pretty sure each Club gets 45% net of every game, all the way from group stages to the semi final, then, as you say, the split changes slightly to 30/30 for the two finalists. The U23 share goes into the competition pool IIRC.
In any event, last season our Wembley gate receipts far exceeded our home gate receipts. The figures, I think, were circa £100k for our home games and £350k+ for Wembley.
Official figure of 541, not that it makes much difference.536 Tranmere at Swindon.

Our away support in the National League was actually better than at any time since our Championship days twenty years ago. It is all down to the arrival of Palios as chairman and Mellon as manager, and the generally positive vibe there has been around the club for the past 2-3 years.Very good that to be fair. Still dining off last season’s success or can we expect good numbers all season?
Makes me wonder whether we’d be better off having the journey you’ve had. Of course the risk is that you don’t come back up (ie Wrexham) but in terms of numbers, your home and away are better than ours at present and you’re on an upwards curve whilst we’re still on a downwards one.Our away support in the National League was actually better than at any time since our Championship days twenty years ago. There will probably be a bit of a drop off later in the season, but our numbers will be better than in our League One stagnation years.
It all depends on who your owners are. If Palios had not taken over before we dropped into non league, we would have been finished. We would be in the same position as York and Stockport now.Makes me wonder whether we’d be better off having the journey you’ve had. Actually think we’d have been better off starting again when we were in admin back in the early naughtiest but that’s another story.
It was also a joke... I genuinely don’t care who comes to us or not. It’s a shame though as their fans were good tonight. Add the ‘boycotters’ and we would have probably heard every chant at the other end rather than just a fewMaybe I am thinking of play of games then as I believe that we didn’t get much for one or more of the finals due to the rules. Either way the thought of comparing a Wembley final and who goes or not to an an away league game at their ground is frankly laughable.
Be careful what you wish for, it’s the fucking pits down there.Makes me wonder whether we’d be better off having the journey you’ve had. No, just using estimate of 180Did you get the number?
6106. How the home crowd can lose 1500 from one game to the next baffles me. Happened last season, too. What was the total crowd at Swindon
