i would imagine as VF16 that is the first time a lot of people have seen us win away for about 4 years unless absolute die hards.
Last season it was Morecambe night match , Exeter and Carlisle and the season before MK Dons on Sky and Walsall when we were almost down anyway.

I went to Morecambe but prior to that despite going 8 to 15 aways most seasons my last away win was at Fleetwood in Sept 2015 ( The Colin Daniel game ) .

Utterly depressing so i guess can't knock anyone who couldn't be arsed.

Id gone about 15 or so without a win away I think! Coventry 2015 Michael O Connor's free kick! Crazy. Oddly i'd seen us win 3 away games in 3 weeks (Walsall, Notts County then Coventry) before that run!

I know I didn't go and I also know plenty of others who didn't bother either; combination of a Boycott and our general awful football at the moment. Plus they made it 'all ticket' with no sales on the day.
Only 2,322 there, so hope we didn't give them much money!

We sold around 400 tickets for the game and with it being all-ticket with no sales on the day then I would say that'll be a decent estimate if we don't get an official figure.

So away at Stevenage we’ve gone from taking 1200 in 16/17 to I think it was around 7/800 in 17/18 to now 400 in 18/19.

First season was a bit of a novelty I reckon with it being the first time we'd ever played there, and after the shenanigans of last season, and with our current form we took more this season that I thought we would.

Just spoken to someone I know at the club and they say that we sold 399 tickets for Saturday. It was supposed to be no sales on the day but maybe 15 extra managed to get in somehow.

That happened at Chesterfield last season too, can’t remember exactly how many we’d sold but it was around 2500 and it said that was our lot, then announced on the day as 2650.

Didn't they announce at about 11am on the Saturday morning that you could pay on the day for that one? I know something like that happened on more that one occasion last season.

The chap on our Forum which runs a Grimsby Town results prediction which includes away attendance actually rang Stevenage to find out and was told that it was 414.

There was an accident/road closure on the only road in or out of Carlisle and our fleet of supporters coaches/all the fans in their cars couldn't make it - sources say between 2,500-3,000 missed out as a result.
