How many Imps can we expect on Tuesday night ?
350 sold last night and now pay on the day, so probably 450 tops. Rumour has it GodsGift is making an appearance with no Blackpool to cover!

My last away game (apart from play-offs and cup games)? A certain 3-0 defeat at Barrow on a Tuesday night during our title winning season in the Conference. In fact I think I attended 7 games that year - arguably the most successful season in the club's history - and 4 of those were defeats!

That's good going mate as we only lost in 9 the whole season

It was three. Sutton, Barrow and Arsenal.

Saw us win against Woking, North Ferriby, Southport and Guiseley.

Dippy Don says 601 at Swindon for MK Dons, not sure where the figure came from

regarding Bury at Swindon someone at the game said between 200 and 250, so I went with an estimate of 225

Swindon-Town-FC.co.uk gives these figures in the match reports.
601 for MK
179 for Bury

Still a decent turnout for an awkward journey. It will hopefully be a 6,000 plus gate.

We have regularly taken 700-1,000 fans to the South East this season, so I would be disappointed if we did not sell our allocation for Morecambe on Saturday.

Might struggle to top 400 at Mansfield tomorrow. An absolute ball ache of a midweek trip.
Real shame it’s mid-week. Had earmarked this as one of my must-dos before the fixture list came out but can’t get there and back on a Tuesday.

We've sold 1100 for Morecambe so far apparently.

It looks like the decision to make it all ticket was the right one. Unable to make tonight’s game now, so I won’t be going, unless I get in the home end.

Looking around the grounds up and down the country, be prepared for some very low home and away attendances tonight.

Carlisle and Crewe stadiums look particularly sparse (relatively speaking).

Can’t see us having many more than 150 at Northampton tonight and Morecambe have taken around 30 to Cheltenham.

Crawley look at have taken around 85 to Notts County.

Macclesfield at Newport will be pretty low too I imagine.

It’s not just this league either, League One looks similar. Is iFollow to blame? Champions League? Early season midweek games lacking any real importance?

I expect Yeovil at Colchester, Macclesfield at Newport and Crawley at Notts Co. to be sub 100 also.

52 Macclesfield at Newport.
124 MK Dons at Port Vale

Still waiting on:

Yeovil at Colchester
Crawley at Notts County
Lincoln at Tranmere

Blimey- seen some of those attendances tonight and they are not great. CL? not sure about that now it is only on BT sport. iFollow? Unless someone releases number for iFollow games (which they will have) then we won't know but can't think of any other reason. It isn't snowing or blowing a gale- mild, inclement weather. Some good games (Mansfield Oldham- Tranmere Lincoln - Exeter Stevenage- Vale MK) but some very low 3,000s except Tranmere which will be around 4500-5000.

Sunderland aside, this could be the lowest attended round of fixtures in the EFL ever.

In order from highest to lowest, from League One and Two:

Sunderland V Peterborough - 28,727 (672)
Coventry vs Portsmouth - 11,102 (1,961)
Barnsley vs Plymouth - 10,770 (225)
Oxford v Luton - 6,769 (1,171)
Tranmere v Lincoln - 5,464 (-)
Notts County v Crawley - 5,098 (85*)
Walsall v Shrewsbury (local derby) 4,555 (806)
Northampton v Bury - 4,073 (170)
Mansfield v Oldham - 3,829 (441)
Exeter v Stevenage 3,671 (56)
AFC Wimbledon v Bradford - 3,630 (224)
Scunthorpe v Charlton - 3,341 (250*)
Port Vale v MK Dons - 3,339 (124)
Carlisle v Grimsby - 3,316 (143)
Cambridge v Forest Green - 3,058 (61)
Crewe v Swindon - 2,761 (218)
Newport v Macclesfield - 2,624 (52)
Colchester v Yeovil - 2,435 (93)
Accrington v Doncaster - 2,327 (546)
Fleetwood v Wycombe - 2,304 (-)
Rochdale v Bristol Rovers - 2,301 (198)
Burton v Southend - 2,149 (-)
Cheltenham v Morecambe - 2,095 (36)

Only 6 games tonight in League One and Two attracted a crowd of over 5,000.

8 fixtures attracted a total crowd of less than 3,000.

7 fixtures attracted a total crowd of less than 4,000 (but more than 3,000)

6 fixtures attracted away followings of less than 100, with one (Morecambe) attracting just 36 away fans.

4 fixtures attracted away followings of less than 200 (but more than 100).

Chuck in the Championship and two more games (Wigan v Swansea and Brentford v Birmingham) attracted crowds of less than 10,000. Wigan total was 8,964 (428) and Brentford total was 9,715

Definitely Ifollow having an impact here. Good weather, third in the league, still a feel good factor with the new manager and only 3600 turn up. Clubs need to look at this.
