Do you think you'll sell out at ours? Hoping the gate money from that game will help us buy a new midfield.
We usually sell out at macclesfield 2300 but we didnt sell out at crewe took 1940 out of 2250 allocation so might bring around 2000.

I can sort of understand the Prem sides fans going to the games if it lets them look at their young stars, but for that many Lincoln fans to go to Scunthorpe is just fucking odd. Have 800 people in Lincoln seriously not got anything better to do.

The team is still on a roll, lots of people seeing winning football for the first time in a long while, or perhaps even ever so it's still a novelty for some.

Yeah, watch Manchester United, but as they weren’t playing they went to Scunny instead.

They are simply ‘new’ to football, don’t realise collectively the EFL clubs fans are boycotting this. Which is understandable but disappointing. Oh and their home and away levels of support are superb since getting back into L2 and having been on the tele!

Those home attendances and cup success to date has transformed the club/city and left many others in the shade

Scunny's the hotbed for the Manchester Clubs, not Lincoln.

Lincoln is Forest and the two Sheffield Clubs.

That is wank. Thought Macc were Tranmere’s big rivals.

Not *that* bad considering Macc's attendances, is a ball ache to get from/to, their current form and that it's a Friday night match.

It's 50 miles, mainly along motorways. You could do it in an hour!
You North West types have a strange concept of distance

I've only recently moved here so don't know the roads that well! When I went to Macc from Liverpool it to took me an hour and a half to travel just over 30 miles as the crow flies so assumed similar.

Matchday attendances say otherwise.

Citeh are my (soft spot) Prem team, have been since Uwe Rosler days

I meant in the Lincoln area, because we're all plastic glory hunters.

I've never had a soft spot for a Premier league team, maybe Burnley a little bit. Don't follow the Premier league much at all these days, can't even remember the last time I watched match of the day.

Not all but a lots, Lincoln(shire) must have the highest plastic glory hunters proportion of any catchment in L2.

I certainly remember the non glory hunting Imps who weren’t new to football for many a season when visiting Sincil Bank.

Probably took me about an hour and a half last night. Definitely a poor turnout from us but you can see why people wouldn't bother going - Friday traffic, terrible weather, England on TV and above all the team is absolutely shite and guaranteed to lose, probably without scoring. I dread to think what our following would have been if Yates was still in charge.

Well the England game was s*** you didn't miss much. A great advert for why fans are needed in football grounds too.
