Yeah for that game think Tranmere will get blocks 4 to 7, block 3 empty block 1 and 2 for the people who've bought tickets for the run in either the 4 or 7 games packs.
Should be a cracking game.

Hats off to Exeter and Tranmere for their followings today. That Exeter one is particularly impressive, almost 700 for a 7-hour round trip.
Yep was gonna post pretty much the same, both terrific followings given the distances.

We've been selling those blocks of tickets in the Stacey West final 4 etc for in their, unless they'll move people to other areas if there's room elsewhere in the ground for the Tranmere game?

I can only apologise - completely missed that one.

We only have to offer 1,000 to Tranmere and segregate block 3 then (Blocks 4-7 have around 1100 seats).

I don't think the club considered Tranmere bringing a full away end but, on their current following and form, they would

Sure they would have brought 1500+ but we could sell the ground out without selling any away tickets.
Crazy times for us, sorry Tranmere

Noticed the total crowd at Meadow Lane was 9,500... impressive but about 3,000 higher than usual, there wasn’t an offer on was there, to take the gloss slightly off Exeters following?

Yes. It was £10.

How many do Newport/Crawley hold? We’ll have professional touts on the case soon.

Crawley holds a decent amount for a small ground - around 1600 terrace and seating.

Newport hold around 600 plus an optional 400 extra (IIRC)

Newport can only offer 1000 tickets?

Could be a scramble for our last away game of the season.

Huh? Even without offers this season we’d be averaging well over 6,000
He's saying you're a bit bad at this football lark, not how many people are in Nottingham with nothing better to do on a Saturday.

It comes in around 980- that's about the lot for Newport. Ground only holds 7,800 for football games.

Funny place Newport- away end is right in the middle of a housing estate and you can, if you get there early enough, literally park on the street outside the away end.

Bit like Mansfield- away fans access and egress is from a different end of the ground and no home fans go that way to enter the ground- I assume to keep home and away fans apart. Don't really see that anywhere else except Mansfield and Newport (from memory and experience)

Leicester were given 1,030 for the cup game this season. Guess this is the max away allocation at Dave.

Not on about attendances bud, on about your football results.

Hold on a minute you told me we can onl talk about away attendances on this thread, and not home crowds, the title being the clue you said. And now you’re talking football results not attendances?!?!

WTF?!!! This thread is a sham I tells ya

Nope, I said something along the lines of that when you waffle on about away support not being important and that all that matters is home gates, that this is the away support thread and so why shouldn’t people talk about away support on it.
Not really that hard to understand now is it?

Oh I thought it was a blanket ban on everything but away crowds but its just home crowds. General football is all good, makes total sense no confusion or contradiction there at all.

So fishy who’s away following was pathetic this weekend, who’s numbers impressed and of course who didn’t make much noise? All the important stuff lol

P.S. I’d rather have poor away followings than poor home crowds. Who wouldn’t?

Think you’re getting me confused with someone else old bean, I never slate away attendances or call anyones pathetic, only time I do is jokingly if a game has been called off like Tranmere’s the other week where I said that their 0 away fans was pathetic, most posters with more than 2 brain cells would realise that it was a joke which I guess rules you out.
If you fancy scrolling back to try and find evidence of me slagging off away attendances though then please be my guest and good luck.

I wasn’t implying anything of the sort old chap, I just know that the average poster on this thread commonly gets over excited by noise levels and good or poor followings. As a regular reader and contributor of this thread I’m sure you’ve witnessed it countless time.

You clearly have me confused with someone if you think I’m going to look back through old threads (that’s another action that has me perplexed and shaking my head) I believe certain fan(s) of your very own Grimsby Town and Cambridge (of course) enjoying doing this on more than one occasion. Fun, fun, fun

After accounting for returns, we have still pre-sold 1,700 tickets for Oldham next Tuesday night, which means we could have a following close to 2,000 for a midweek fixture. It will be fantastic if it happens.

Just over 4,300 sold for MK so far.

Second allocation took us to 4,500 so I imagine we've requested more. Final figure will depends on how we do on Saturday and how Tranmere do in their game in hand on Tuesday.

Negotiations ongoing- not sure how MK works but it looks like blocks of around 1500 so next jump will be to 6k and then maybe 7.5k.

Going to be a noisy day

Now 4,500 and we've received an extra 700 tickets. Win on Saturday and it really should be 6,000+.
