Took me over 4 hours to get there from Liverpool! Not a great day really!

Think the coaches from Lincoln took 6 hours, bank holiday, hot weather, roadworks, accident, long trip, perfect storm.
Happened to me a few times Torquay and Bournemouth spring to mind and a trip to Wycombe in 1993 where we arrived just into the second half!

City centre car parks probably your best bet as round the ground gets crazy from around two hours before kick off and the common is shut for the fair.
Lots of places to drink near the ground, at the ground we have a social club and fanzone.

If you get here early or stopping over try the area around the historic quarter loads of cracking pubs round there .

LN5 7HW is probably your best bet, which is the Transport Hub - about a 5/10 minute walk from the ground.

The South Common is closed this weekend so the locals will know where to go and take up any of the minimal off-street parking early doors so it'll probably not be worth wasting time driving around for it as an away fan.

Looking forward to a great atmosphere at a sold out match, both sets of fans have found their vocal chords in recent years. If it's a competitive game it could be bouncing! I am a bit gutted you didn't win the title yesterday, because you'll have an extra incentive to finish the job on Monday.

Parking last time was a nightmare, so cheers for the advice.

Stevenage, less than 100 fans on a Good Friday, great weather etc for a tie four games away from possibly making the play offs.

Got to be one of the worst I’ve seen down Vale considering the circumstances.
