We were not allowed into any pubs in central Lincoln except one (because clearly we're massive) called the Blue Anchor and it was the worst pub I've ever been to. A lot of police out on force when we played there, was awful.

I have to say I've never ventured into Mansfield to pubs pre match and therefore I was careful not to criticise Mansfield too much, I just got the sense of not much near the ground besides a Frankie & Bennies esque leisure park, similar at Stevenage. I may be wrong though as I haven't been into the centre much.

Well if you venture over the bridge behind Frankie and Bennies then you are in the town centre and there's lots of pubs to choose from. Not sure how long Frankie and Bennies has been there now but I've never been in, Not sure if many away fans go in but I never see many when walking upto the ground. It's like Northampton/Oxford away going in one of those!

If you're going into Frankie and Bennies/TGI's when you come to Sixfields you're a muppet! Venture into town and there are loads of different options, close to the ground to the Melbourne Arms is a great pub and let's in away fans. There's even two on top of the hill that are miles better than going into TGI's etc

We go into the town centre. Can't remember name of the pub though. It's right in the middle of town anyway!

Sold our 1433 allocation for Cambridge on Saturday, and also been issued with their version of War & Peace on persistent standing.

Glad I won't be going, bored of it and their abject policing and stewarding. I'll be enjoying the warmer climes of Rimini and Serravalle watching a nice 8-0 for England.

Pleased to hear you've sold out but not a surprise. Enjoy the sunny bore-fest or at least accompanying activities.

It'll be our biggest league gate of the season and we might even sell most of the South Habbin as well. We'll have 3 or 4 guests with us on the North Habbin, including a couple of Aussies who have been aware of the "rivalry" for a couple of seasons. I just hope the idiots give it a rest but that's probably too much to hope for. We'll be getting together with Luton friends for a few beers before and after, whatever happens.

We're all bored of the annual Camb Luton fixture. Don't know how many times we've played each other the last 7 years, and not just in the league. Yes it's true about the policing, but you do know the stewards we employ are actually your stewards don't you?

356 Argyle fans at Wimbledon. Good number considering a large number were stuck on the M3 and ended up turning around and heading back to Plymouth

The Wednesday
It was 762 Cambridge fans at the Hive.
I'd rather trust the official Football League figure as they will have got it from your club.

For me though, the kettling we got from police and stewards was only one part of why I thought it was a poor away day - I decided not to go primarily because of the unappealing stadium, lack of atmosphere and no decent pubs around the ground.
Don't worry we got our own back on those Barnet stewards for you, by viciously attacking one with an inflatable shark leaving the poor guy terrified and
traumatised..... :ffs: :ffs:

Our Club announced 762.
No it didnt, the Met Police announced 762. Not sure where they got that figure from.
I posted it on here assuming that it was the figure from the club.

Agreed. Pretty heavy on the tinpot. Think your numbers are probably the worst of the lot tbh, womble.
