I think 132 Bees at Carlisle is quite good.

Very poor from Dagenham though. How many will come to the Hive, Daggers fans?

It's lower than I thought we'd take but given how poor we have been at Northampton in the past, I'm not surprised. I'd hope 400-500 at Barnet. New ground and all that.

Yeah surprised it wasn't a few more. We've been there loads of times in conference and L2 and it's not the most inspiring of away trips, despite an OK bar in the ground and a decent view... We will definitely have considerably more at Yeovil next week
Regardless of how many times we've been there I really was surprised by yesterday's turn up from us. It was obvious when I got to St. Pancake that not a lot would be there. Quite any easy game to get to...would have expected nearer 400 tbh...

I knew there would be hardly any. Every one I know is having a jog day out next sat. Mansfield making games all ticket does not help.

I decided not to go primarily because of the unappealing stadium, lack of atmosphere and no decent pubs around the ground.

Sounds ident to Cambridge to be fair.

If you guys think some of those attendances are poor, wait until Forest Green roll into town next year......
On the back of 7 straight wins they took the superb following of between 40 - 60 fans to Chester on Saturday, and are now already 7 points clear of 2nd place. :ffs: :ffs:

Considering you brought 200 or so to our place, I'd agree its pretty decent tbf.

Oxfords crowd is ok. Its on TV and an early kick off on Sunday so I can understand that.

Rovers was our third away League game on the trot that was all ticket, and Northampton next Saturday is also all ticket. Fact is it's a bloody ball ache getting tickets in advance, and has an effect on how many travel. Add to that it was midday on a Sunday, at a place we've played loads of times, and the 650 looks respectable enough.

By contrast, for our two cup games this season (which have not been all ticket) we have taken 1,350 to Brentford and 850 to Wednesday, for evening games, which bears this out. Also, we have been in this league for five seasons now, and with this being our sixth it has become boring going to mostly the same old places.

People are just fed up of us losing to Northampton, not surprised we took so few.

We'll have a decent 400+ at Barnet. Always travel there as we garner the support of the local YOOF who like to have an imaginary tear up with their Barnet counterparts. There's no netting separating the fans this year though - where's the fun in that?

No it didnt, the Met Police announced 762. Not sure where they got that figure from.
I posted it on here assuming that it was the figure from the club.

867 is the figure printed in the Cambridge programme from Sat.

So I've found out this week Barnet sell all their tickets throughout the season, not that I was going to go to it but gotta be the only club that does this?

First time we've done it as far as I know. There are a few odd things our chairman does like monthly membership instead of season tickets.
Just seen that Portsmouth tickets are now off sale and will only be available in person or from Portsmouth for away fans

That can't be right - as dear Eric has told us, Oxford are a much bigger club than we'll ever be. They must have missed a '1' from in front of their attendance.

Ps. Took more to the Abbey than Barceluton as well. How odd...

Don't get too excited. Luton actually filled the south stand behind the goal (rather than there being the smattering of empty seats that Orient left) and we didn't give them the terrace along the side. That's not to say that wasn't an excellent away following yesterday, mind.

931 Oxford to Northampton is not that good really.

The away end was sold out and the cobblers refused us any more tickets. 931 is the official figure but if you include those who were watching from the hill and those that had gone in with the home fans the true figure is probably about 1300

Northampton have a limit on the current number of away tickets they issue due to them being a stand down!

We've only got around 900 tickets ourselves, which we will probably sell if we somehow keep doing well, so 931 can't really be knocked.

Tsk Rob, don't ruin my fun with your facts and reason (but fair enough).

Actually, the smattering of empty seats were Cambridge's fault. We sold out the stand, but because your stewards/the club made the stand unreserved seating (you IDIOTS) a number of O's crossed into the terrace instead rather than fight other away fans to sit together as groups in allocated seats.

Our away stand has always been unreserved seating, that's how all all-seated away ends should be.

Sure, if you've got Dagenham turning up with 200 fans. Not when it's a complete sell out, though. Just creates arguments.

Allocated seating creates arguments, I want to stand but have a ticket in row A, I either piss someone off by standing or more likely piss someone off by standing in their seat, along with 4-500 others. Unreserved seating, standers at the back, sitters at the front, no-one has a "right" to a certain seat, simple, common sense.

Heh, I guess they create different arguments.

Either way, my original point stands as to why there were gaps in the seating - saw at least 10 O's fans move into the terrace, and I didn't arrive until 5 before kick off.

Ok let me just say that Luton sold out both the south stand and the South Habbin when we were in the Conference. So there. ;-)

So, why were Orient given more tickets than us for their game at Cambridge? "Police advice?"
Not that I think we would've sold them out anyway.
