Isn't difficult to sell out our away end

I know but makes a change from how many Rakish Bingham took to Carlisle.

On the subject who has the largest away allocations in the league? I know Oxford is around the 2,500 mark? Ours could be as high as 3,200 but not sure if health and safety has it still limited as 2,500. How many could Carlisle accomodate?

Orient's usual away allocation is around 1,000, which can easily be extended to 1,400. When big clubs like Pompey, Borussia Lutongladbach or Accrington come to town, we maximise revenue by offering around 3,600 seats.

Biggest allocation in the division might be Oxford, who like giving up to 4,550 away tickets when the big clubs roll into town - but in truth I suspect it's at Notts County, who have a very large ground that they only 1/4 fill.

We could give around 5,000 if needed I think. Not sure exactly how many, stand holds more than that but there's bits the police don't like us using.

We've had the whole stand at Oxford before. Think it was around 5,000

I seem to recall our allocation last time out at yours was 2.5k.

I was impressed by you lot selling out our away end in 13/14, in December when you were near the bottom under Barker.

On an unrelated note, we've sold out at Plymouth. Disappointing that the allocation couldn't have been increased further, but we took 1,200 last time so the same again doesn't surprise me that much.

No you haven't.

The only time that ever happened was on the last day of the season in 2006 when our outgoing c*** of a chairman, Firoz Kassam, had already given the whole North Stand to Leyton Orient as a last parting twist of the knife before he sold the club.

It resulted in the worst day in our history as we were relegated and 5,000 cockney wankers celebrated on our pitch while Oxford fans were baton charged out of the stadium by Thames Valley Police. Thousands were locked out of the ground, due to this appalling decision and people wonder why we hate kassam and Leyton Orient.

Would you not have celebrated like that if Oxford had been promoted then? Still going on about something so petty 10 seasons on is making you look just a little bit daft at the moment.

To be fair to Eric, it is a day that will live in infamy for him.

Because there were so many Orient fans at that game, we actually managed to be a bunch of big cheaties and blew the ball into the net in the 97th minute and then all 6,000 of us ran on the pitch and pulled up every blade of grass on their pitch as a memento of the day and used them to tickle Billy Turley's weeping face, and then the 12,000 of us all ran over and waved our willies at Eric shouting "Haha Eric, we relegated you down to the Banbury District League!" and then all 24,00 of us did a wee on Eric's nan while all the policeman were laughing and riding their horses over Princess Diana's grave and then all 48,000 of us followed Eric round for a week calling him a Mr. Sillypants until he did a cry and we ran home to our 203,596,000 (is that right? - ed) houses that we have because we are too massive a massive club to have less houses for all of our fans and then we ate a choc ice.

But luckily Eric's a good sport and he had always wanted to go to Eastleigh, so he took it well.

No problem with them celebrating their promotion, and I've said that on earlier posts on the subject. What really annoyed people on the day, and still does, is the classless way their fans took the piss at our relegation. Laughing in the face of crying children etc, that's completely out of order and is why there is so much bitterness. We haven't played them since that day, so next months game will be "interesting"

Also, I wouldn't call being relegated out of the league petty, when six years before it we were in the Championship.

Might well be the lowest Cambridge away following of the season today - a long trip to Pools has been complicated by the A1 being closed until 2:30 after a big smash.

Supporters coaches and car loads of U's fans are stuck.

Funny that, I remember one of your fans trying to punch Gabriel Zakuani.

Classless indeed.

I would suggest you take a long hard look in the mirror, because that is an awful take from ten years ago, I can't even begin to tell you how inaccurate that is but such is life.

Mansfield's support is and always has been terrible. I'll never buy the "why would you wanna go to Luton" bullshit either. Could say the same about half the teams in this league.
