With everyone clambering for Chelsea tickets our game at Salford on Tuesday 17th Sep seems to have been forgotten, will be interesting to see how many of the 1,400 plus spaces we have been given are taken up (while everyone is panicking they will not get one of the 5,000 plus Chelsea have sent us). I will be there with the good lady, such a lucky girl.
Nice to see romance isn't dead

That's a belting following for a night match . New ground helps but either way that's cracking.
It's lovely too, plenty of nice pubs and places to eat ......oh no sorry it's an absolute shit hole with piss all around it . Whether or not that's down to a large Jewish and Asian community within spitting distance I'm not sure but don't expect to find a boozer anywhere close

143 Valiants tonight. Poor home turnout considering. I follow perhaps?

Great support from Grimsby and Argyle for midweek games.

Our support confuses me 284 to Orient on a Tuesday night and over 200 to Crawley midweek. Compared to 145 to Grimsby on a Saturday afternoon.

460 cobblers in a total crowd of 2877 at Stevenage

Seems about right, they took their time counting them.
Real tin pot last night at Broadhall Way:
At the ticket booth "you need to go and pay on the turnstile".
At the turnstile which was advertising "cards or cash".
Inside the turnstile "can't pay by card mate, our (only) machine is broken. You'll have to go back to the ticket office" Extricate from turnstile.
Where's the programmes? "You should have printed your own off before you came"
Be warned everybody.
At least the car parking is free...
