Next time you intend to go to an away game can you post on here Andy.
I'll know to give it a miss !!

I went three a half years without an away win and currently sit on 4 and a half with one win (Crewe last season)... granted the last couple of years I’ve been about four due to having little uns but I went a few in the page season and relegation one.

Oddly saw us win three away in 3 weeks (Walsall, Notts Co and Coventry) then non again actually went about 8 or 9 aways without a goal! (And that was the consolation at Bolton at 3 down)

Got a ticket for Saturday.

Super Vale Away!!!!!

You lot are all amateurs.

I've been to Yeovil & Oldham 11 times each and Tranmere 10 times and have only seen us ever win twice at all three, as well as watching us at Exeter 6 times - never seen us win there, with two 4-0 dickings in back to back seasons and only two draws to show for it:bdick:

My third ever trip to Home Park on Saturday, both been draws in the past. Would be happy with a result like that again (or a win).

They also lost home to Chelsea U21 last night BH .....it's all been set up for you bauys, ....high press - old heads - and a tricky winger or two and all that will have changed is red stripes to black stripes - it'll send 'em potty.....( their keeper was well dodgey)............4-0 please , will make a pretty pattern - thank you muchly.

Just noticed Mansfield have been allocated only 300 tickets for our game in November.

Surely to God they’ll bring more than that!

544 was a decent turnout, but even for allowing for a less than stellar season far, you should be looking at 300+. It doesn’t take much of an upturn in form to storm up this league.

A new ground for a lot of people two years ago as we had not played at Swindon for over 10 years.

difficult place to get to by train, one change to get to London and then getting over London from St Pancras to Paddington.

also a good three hour drive if going via car.

Surely the easier way via train is through Brum?

I haven't been recently but have been twice. 2 totally different experiences. First visit was in the 86/87 season in the Old (old) Division 2, we lost 5-0 and it was Nigel Batch's last ever game for the club which was a sad way for such a fantastic keeper to bow out.

2nd visit was a better experience though (apart from the weather). Towards the end of the 91/92 season. Both teams near the bottom of the same Division above, we won 2-1 on a Tuesday night in the pouring rain. Super Clive scored his first ever goal for us and the 100 or so Town fans were doing the conga in the pouring rain on the open terrace. At the end of the season we stayed up and they went down.

Our followings have held up okay, although Walsall for example was one where if we were not shit I reckon a comfortable four figure following instead of the 800/900.

978 sold for tomorrow, just 22 short of our first ever 4 figure away (league) following.
