Best support we’ve seen here since we’ve been up by a mile. Though they weren’t tested by going behind.

The Stewards at our end on Saturday were absolutely brilliant. The best stewards we've ever seen.

They were interacting with our fans throughout and even joining in with our chants. High fiving our fans at the front

Not sure if you could see this from where you stand or sit, but check out the videos that are doing the rounds on social media, absolutely brilliant.

Yes putting a few noses out of joint that they were joining in on Sutton get battered song. Non issue for me, they’re not Sutton fans and anything to make the day enjoyable for away fans good by me. Helps manage the crowd too. I see also someone got arrested for being pushed over the barrier and that’s getting some attention too!

Our stewards seem to go down well with away fans generally.

We’ve been allocated 816 tickets for our visit to Salford in the JPT. Wouldn’t be surprised to see us sell this out too, even though we sold out the same away end just weeks ago.

1 ticket secures 20 loyalty points, which will come in handy when we’re playing the likes of Stockport very soon.

Can’t wait for Doncaster in Feb. Be interesting to see if we can sell it out. Allocation 4,000 or so?

Yeah you get 4,100 as a rule SYP dependant

Our full allocation always been less last two times at donny, about 3,500? I know we did not quite sell out earlier this season but I’m assuming that’s down to police then? I actually think in the FA Cup game with tickets a tenner 4k was achievable.

The allocation you get is basically what your club asks for, if they think they can sell them all then you get 4.1k, to be fair not many teams do, if you fell short it would have probably been a few kept back for pay on the gate.

No we definitely wanted more for FA Cup game, not sure why we didn’t get any more. Had a similar issue at Bradford last season too, managed to convince them to open the upper tier behind the net, although they actually oversold it and many had to stand in the lower behind the seats.

The only reasons would be either too much home demand (definitely not in the last 3 years) or SYP, probably the latter as there are no other reasons the club wouldn’t

We’ve been here before.

You got what you asked for. I’ve no idea how anyone oversells these days - each ticket is corroborated against its stand allocation - it just doesn’t happen.

I know for a fact we asked for more, and maybe re the tickets some went behind the goal instead of the side stand because definitely more people than seats that day was a shambles, check the highlights and look closely behind the goal

Let’s be frank, Mansfield generally do not travel well at VP - you brought around 700 in 2008 - and around 1,000 in 2019. Your club knew that, hence why a reduced amount was sent.

If clubs demand entire allocation, we will send them it - however costs must be paid upfront, which puts clubs off.

This game actually flagged in our supporters board minutes (from recollection), this is how I know we sent what you asked for (initially).

The yoots always stand in clumps often as near as possible to the home fans though regardless of what tickets they have. If you look at our playoff semi highlights last year, there are empty seats in the bottom tier but we obviously sold out 100%, it was 3 people deep on my row. I'm with Firthy in that overselling is a myth, it's just completely selling out and people not going in their allocated seat that causes chaos.

Yeah that’s definitely a possibility, the whole stewarding and how It was organised was just shambolic, but I’m sure a bunch of drunk Mansfield fans added to that. Overselling does happen but not usually on a massive scale, like I said I think some who were suppose to be in the side stand got in behind the net because I got through without my ticket being checked properly, and I know that happened with others too, so like I said a shambles and definitely more people than seats in that stand on the day it was obvious.

The club was willing to take the entire stand behind the net, but I’m sure did not request it all initially as demand was higher than expected. Club was told upper tier only and that took some convincing, seemed like Bradford were not convinced it’s financially feasible to get it ready which is fair enough, something to do with that stand not being used for a while, so we received the normal allocation and requested extra, no ‘reduced’ allocation. taking 1000+ in 2019 and 2000+ in 2021 does not translate to not travelling well in any aspect.

Think we will do well to take similar again this season!

Mansfield just sold the extra thousand tickets which went on sale at 5pm, in an hour now that they are on general sale. That’s 3000 sold for the Sheff Wed cup game now, just need the further 1000 extra tickets now making it up to 4000.

Wimbledon tickets out on Monday for ST holders. £25 a pop. Absolutely outrageous price. £27 for pay on the day. Twenty seven fucking pounds for League Two football. Wimbledon need to hang their heads in shame.

Looked less, think because for some reason we insisted on them all sitting in the central block rather than spread out. A good turnout.
Got this wrong sorry, told that’s the average away turnout!

Kept singing all the way through the second half after what they witnessed in the first. Couple of drunk idiots thrown out for scrapping amongst themselves though.
