I was absolutely staggered when i saw the numbers when i walked out, knowing they never travel well in numbers i was expecting a thousand or so, but that was like wow.

Even for northampton that was crap.

However the atmosphere we created was also poor

But as i always say sides aren’t determined by their numbers, however poor they might be.

The playoffs not selling out I get because after the 7-0 i knew a lot who couldn’t get any enthusiasm for the playoffs, but today and the game in April was poor. Suppose I can’t really moan as I spent the afternoon with extended family and we had it on iFollow so I chose/was chosen for me not to go.

I remember them bringing a similar number when we first played them in the league in late 2011, all other times its been around 500/600.

1000 is decent for them - half of their regular support. Closest trip of the season though!

Yep we sold out on the day of the tickets being released and it looked full in the stand, so give or take a few no shows that'll be right.
