Our game at Crewe was made a 1pm game about 6 weeks ago because of the likely hood of England playing the same day at 7pm - loads of people saying what a load of bollocks it was…….looks like it turned out to be the right call!

Seems strange to suggest that no further tickets will be made available once the 1,550 sold if the terrace was still in use. Whether it’s just their decision not to allocate it to us/police advise, I’ve no idea.

Train strikes for that day too, so I think the current allocation will be enough.

No train strikes on Boxing Day, it's normal for it to be a train free day.

The Waterworks does have a current safety certificate for 1639 standing and 42 seated.

Not sure why you wouldn't be offered it if you sell out the seats, it's not like the club is drowning in dosh.

Doesn't look like I'll be getting to Mansfield away on the 17th now after RMT rejected that final improved offer, no trains at all going up from London. Doesn't look like any trains at all from GY/Cleethorpes too so what's usually a nailed on sellout is up in the air too now.

I'm not sure if it's because the lines haven't announced if they're running reduced services or fully striking yet but there aren't any tickets available from London to Mansfield or Nottingham on the 17th. Or from Cleethorpes either.

Given that they probably expected it to be called off, and the weather, the England game later and their current form I think that is fantastic numbers from them.

I'm just glad they didn't get all the way to BP for it to be called off when they could have been at home watching the England match instead of driving back. Any Tranmere fan that made that trip deserves praising massively. A shame for them that they left empty handed but we also needed the points!

All 28 tickets Harrogate have allocated us for our clash at their place on Boxing day have surprisingly sold out instantly and we won't be getting any of the thousands of seats that will be empty in the ground on the day. Hopefully we get to play a proper club next season on Boxing Day.

Is that the 24th Jan? We've just had ours with Crawley moved to then for that same reason. Works great for me that as I can do that after work and be back at a reasonable time.
