Sold less than 1,200, then.
As of yesterday, we were approaching the 1,200. Be a few travelling on the day though - still think we'll be between 1,300 and 1,500 by kick off.

You brought 1,600, didn’t you?
About that, yes? Definitely remember County fans being in the upper & lower tiers behind the goal. Not full by any sense, but as I say definitely used it

That’s my point.

You could’ve brought three fans and put one in each section. There was still 1,300 empty seats.

So what's the combined max at Bradford this season? Did Donny sell out?

Donny fetched 1,971 - two blocks in Midland Road and upper tier of the Dallas.

Add the lower tier, you’re looking at 2,850ish.

Edit: lower tier wasn’t open because Donny didn’t demand it. Pay of the day was available and they fetched under 2k.

Absolutely cannot wait for the Bradford/Donny away back to back double header we've got in April. Hopefully we've got some kind of mathematical goal to chase, be it a slim outside playoff chance or a threat of relegation. I think we'll take loads to both regardless but if by some sort of miracle we're in some kind of chase or if we tumble down into the dogfight we'll be taking almost 7000 combined over two weekends.

We'll lose both games 1-0 and it will be a massive anticlimax but I'm still buzzing for it.

April Fools day?

Expect us to be still up there pushing for autos. I know I’ve said it a few times this season and it hasn’t yet materialised, but this is the kinda fixture that will attract 22,000+ - it’s bound to happen at some point.

You maybe right I know they were ripped out at one point in the season or pre season, they’re in now anyway nice and shiny we should have donated the old 800 or so to Hartlepool they bloody need them.

My son is a mate of someone that works for the club so he got us both corporate tickets for the opening fixture, I was told then that Bradford had dropped a bollock by not putting the seats in the lower tier, they thought that having being relegated we wouldn’t need the stand behind the goal at all, then scrambled to get the stand open but couldn’t get the bottom tier seats in, ffs we would have stood

As if it makes any difference. You’d sold 1,700, hours before kickoff - tickets were on sale for 5 week.

We agreed POTD on the basis that 200 tickets were still available in the upper tier. Your floating away support purchased 200 on walk up. It wasn’t as if another 800-900 were outside the ground, pissed off because they could get a ticket.

My original point was that no one yet has needed the lower tier (in capacity). Your numbers confirm this. Unless you’re implying that the seats in the lower tier would sell, even though they weren’t available - almost asif demand outweighed supply - because that’s laughable.

If that’s the case how did Mansfield get the same as Donny last season but nearly 2200 squeezed in instead of 1900?

It depends on the allocation in the Midland Road stand. Additional tickets can be made available by moving the segregation line slightly - move it half a block and it’ll create an additional 300.

Two blocks in MR = 1,284
Upper tier Dallas = just under 900
Lower tier Dallas = 750-800

Be a few less paying on the day after the announcement of the pitch inspection. Hoping it's purely a precautionary measure and that the game is going ahead...

We been given 766 for the upper tier.

Block nearest to tunnel usually cordoned off - but will likely be made available if you sell the 766.

Or, we may just open downstairs instead.

You could jump on a bus from Shipley (to get there and find out it’s been called off)
Thankfully I'm not suffering the uncertainty - family commitment which I was cursing just yesterday!

If they do get stuck at Shipley and the games off, it’d be worth walking up to Saltaire for a few beers, if it’s on it’d only be a couple of quid in an Uber if the trains aren’t working.

Feel for all the fans around the country who are half way to their game when they get the news. Once went to Brentford with Carlisle, about to go through the Griffin Park turnstile when they called the game off. It was knocking on for half past two!

Safe journeys back folks...
