Not quite sure why 72 Donny fans bought tickets & then never bothered turning up, shrewd move like, with hindsight.

The attendance at Prenton Park was 5,946. No away figure, but it looked about 3-400 Orient fans.

Our visit to Stockport last night marked our 13th away day this season - our 8th sell out.

Current Average: 1,022

Barrow - 620
Colchester - 467 (Tues)
Hartlepool - 704
Mansfield - 1,416 (originally sold 1,750)
Tranmere - 985 (Tues)
Harrogate - 600
Salford - 1,341
Grimsby - 1,223
Sutton - 755
Leyton Orient - 1,244
Carlisle - 1,314
Wimbledon - 1,157
Stockport - 1,450

Doncaster away on the 25th should see some decent numbers.
As impressive as that away support is it has to be said that your home crowds are like 2 and half times the size of everybody else in this division so your away figures should be high. More impressed with Stockport`s to be honest and it has to be said that they were by far the best away fans we have had at Prenton Park not only so far this season but as a long long time. I`ll be interested to see if they are the same at Edgeley Park on Saturday.

Barrow on course to bring over 1500 fans to Brunton Park for a rearranged Tuesday night game.

Barrow to Carlisle is also nowhere near as short a hop as people might imagine.

Fair play, worked in the area for a few years and travelling to and from anywhere in the Cumbria region was always a pain in the arse, first trip to Whitehaven, only 30 odd miles from Carlisle to there, hour and a half later..

As good as that would be, I really don't think it will be anywhere near that sadly. Our supporters trust have only managed to get hold of four coaches, they were already gold dust for this re-arranged date apparently due to most being booked prior for some major teaching conference in Manchester. There may be the odd group of fans that run their own, but as trains aren't a reliable option, the only other method is driving. Not sure if that figure mentioned also includes tickets sold for the original date and would likely not include any refunds given. I couldn't make the original date but can go to this one (more in hope than expectation at the moment). However, I have heard that due to there being teaching strikes on Wednesday some people with younger kids are heading up for the game which would normally be out of the question.

Stockport only brought 700 to us, which is undeniably pish for a bank holiday. We took 500 more to them last season on a Tuesday in the Conference. What I will say about that 700 they brought is that they were noisy as fuck, so fair play. They usually make a decent amount of noise at our place.

985 Bradford at your place even on a school night is decent but nothing special I agree on that. What's impressive about Bradford though is the consistency, comfortably more sell outs than not isn't to be sniffed at.

Plus isn’t the reason for Bradford’s high home numbers due to season tickets working out at about 75p per game so their away numbers are still very impressive.

They sold out our place only for the game to be called off when the Queen died but they still turned up on mass on the Tuesday night a few weeks later and they never shut up all game. And for once it wasn`t the same 6 songs on repeat (or in the case of some clubs 2 or 3 songs with at least one of those about how much they don`t like scousers which I can completely understand. I`m no lover of them either). I have been to Stockport at least 10 times and it`s never been that noisy or that well attended either but Saturday is our first visit since we avoided the drop there in 2010 (on which occasion we totally filled 2 sides of the ground and our chav element invaded the pitch and brought down a set of goalposts at the final whistle I`m sorry to say) so it will be interesting to see the difference in atmosphere from my previous visits. As somebody said early in the thread we have sold out so it should be good although it`s difficult for visiting fans to create that much noise in an open end.

We can only sell what we’re allocated. The average would 1,500+ if some clubs in this league weren’t so tinpot.

I thought a 1,000 to Tranmere on Tues night wasn’t to be sniffed at. But I suppose we average 17k at home, so I guess 1,000 is shite.

Definitely not shite...more frustrating that you got so close to 1000, I'd say. Any non-local derby midweek away following in this division around 1000 is decent.

Stockport have released an extra 100 tickets for Saturday, which i assume will be snatched up pretty quickly.

* 15 minutes later, they're gone.

We’ve sold over 700 for Donny on Saturday, one of our more local games but pretty decent going considering the crap on the pitch we’ve been watching this season.
