Yeah similar to Limerick I was expecting 400-600 so better than I was expecting.
My lad went too and he said it was a cracking away day noisy as fuck the whole game.

We took what 2100 last season with much better form? Plus you’ll usually get a bit less this season due to people being more skint so it’s a decent following in my eyes.

Does anybody have current averages for away fans? Interested in two things:

1) Average number of visiting fans visiting each ground

And

2) Average number each side is taking away

Newport Attendance: 4,757 (1,000 Swindon Town fans)

Currently 417 sold for Mansfield on Saturday. I think we'll probably be in the region of 700 for this one. Quite a trip for us but a ground we haven't played at since 95/96 so should attract a few for that reason alone.

I am not saying they are totally accurate but it gives you a good estimation,
However some grounds have some big followings to come which could alter it quite a lot.

You both pale in comparison to the Cheshire Riviera, however

Not sure how whether we'll still be the place to be by the end of the season - don't see many coming up for Crawley or Stevenage, then again Donny and Mansfield should bring good numbers. Dale's visit toward the end of April might be massive for them at the time. And of course there's always Hartlepool's annual furry convention on the final day
