But we are not crap away from home, as Dave keeps telling us. We’ve only lost once away under his tenure. I think maybe he’s hinting about BP being shit by constantly repeating how great the support is away from home. Thing is we’ve been pretty much abysmal at home since promotion. I haven’t seen a home win this season and didn’t see many last season. I blame the pitch it’s far too good now. It never used to be like that.

I imagine it would’ve been something like, you get 650 or you but tickets for the whole end, and gillingham went for the former as we’d need the space.

Though that’ll be the 2nd last game of the season and we could be in full self destruct mode by then.

Yeah you could be right, I'd be interested to know exactly what the process is though as I'm sure Gillingham could turn round and request the 10% and not have to choose one of those options if that's what's happened.

Agreed on that, but there must be some process in place as the away end at stockport hasn’t been 10% all season, and wrexhams would be similar now they’ve that temporary stand.

I think Stockport are similar to us in that the reported capacity right now is higher than what it is in actual terms and that the 900+ they allocate just slips inside the 10%. Wrexham have increased their away allocation by a few hundred since opening the new stand too so they also give the required 10%, either that or they had enough wiggle room in what they were already allocating. I remember discussing it before and the new temporary end only adds a couple of thousand on so it wasn't really an issue.
