As usual Bradford top home attendance. Well done to them.
A few away stats missing.

let's be real, that home attendance is shite
Felt and looked like there was a lot more than that. Apparently there was some issue with the scanners, so they weren't counting people in very accurately.

Plus, we're one of the few teams to count the actual attendance, rather than all tickets sold. Average would be 8k + otherwise.

Imagine some who pick and choose with two in a week may pick AFC Wimbledon with the celebrations and events surrounding JR but did seem a good number there Saturday, watching Knappers Vlog the Hamil looked quite busy!

As you say though if we went like most clubs on tickets sold we would average around 8k currently as we have 6500 ST sales plus Pay on the Day and Away fans.

Surely you haven't got 1400 people with tickets not turning up every week? Ours is sub 500 apparently of non attending ST holders/sponsors/community trust freebies etc

Possibly because of the way we do the kids season tickets. You basically pay £35 I think it is and get a free home top so a lot of parents do that and they don't always attend. Against Colchester we had 1500+ less attendance overall than season tickets sold!

In that case it throws huge doubt and serious question marks on your reported season ticket sales.

How much is a kids home shirt if the season ticket is £35!

Its a cracking scheme to be fair to encourage younger fans. The Shirts I think are £38.00 so it might be more now for the kids ST (I havent purchased one for a couple of years!) but its still very good, they get a signed card and things like that. All building the next generation.

It's a great scheme for both families and club but I'm calling for an immediate investigation into Port Vale FC's reported season ticket sales. With the free gift worth more than the season ticket itself then we need to adjust those season ticket numbers if we are seriously adding on 1400 to every reported home gate.

It's hard to know what to believe anymore.

It doesn't matter though does it because we only report ACTUAL attendances so we keep it real!

On a side note 568 tickets sold so far for Harrogate tomorrow which is fairly decent, should push 600 you'd think, its a frustrating one as first season Easter Monday was behind closed doors and our other visit was postponed NYD so played on a Tuesday as one I'd have liked to have done!

Always seem to be away on holiday when we play them at home as well, will be the third time thats occurred in 3 visits they've made to us this season!

Correct doesn't matter to home match attendances but we must adjust the reported 5457(?) ST by a similar number to the estimated no shows for those matches at VP as the ST price is less than home shirt price.

Fairs fair and all that if you are going to mention 1400+ no shows

I've had a look and its changed a bit the Junior Valiants are the shirt and benefits but doesn't include the season ticket.

Kids Season Tickets are £30.00 in the Paddock and Lorne Street but are Free in the Hamil end behind the goal in the family zone.

Joking aside they are fantastic offerings from Vale and I know lots of EFL clubs including Notts do similar. No wonder attendances are up and demographics are continually going younger as the shiny PL continue to prove fans out of the game and basically end up being a fantastic TV product like the NFL. If you want football in the flesh and all that goes with it aim for EFL.

4 absolutely shite followings there.
Our home attendance was shite as well - only 400 more than the ST number, not good for a Saturday. I released ours Saturday morning - no trains between Peterborough and Donny and with dodgy back atm didnt fancy driving. Someone bought them but I would estimate 800+ no shows, that’s despite sitting in one of our best league positions in the last 20 years. Getting smashed at home is taking its toll.

Very true and may explain the increase we see among a lot of clubs especially in the Midlands/North West belt where many Premier League/Big Championship clubs reside and as you say are becoming too expensive. Opens the door for us more traditional but less successful clubs to pick up the fans who want to see games.

We've without doubt picked up plenty that way partly due to F*rest's eventual return to the PL and some very tasty prices rises especially for single match days. There is no way little old Notts would be averaging over 10,000 without that. Depending the year you use at the barometer it's a 40-70% increase within the past decade when we've been nothing but L2 or NL.
