Boxing Day 2017
Rookie numbers all round far as I’m concerned
Just a reminder where you've come from...

Also, if you want to properly get into the spirit of this thread, you would now declare that you are not a Mansfield fan at all, but you support a big North Lancs club - let's go for Burnley...

Listen, we are potentially the pound for pound away support Willy wavers in the entire country, and we will make most of that while it lasts.

Agreed - you've overtaken us in % of home support taken away which was our Willy waving metric. Always helps that our home support is shit, at least when accounting for the number of ST holders that don't turn up, but you must be averaging nearly 20% at the moment. That was about our peak I think.

I think it’s above 20% at the minute to be honest and not slowing down yet, I reckon we may take around 1500 at Reading tomorrow.

I think that's ok from Donny, my vote for shite following of the day goes to Lincoln - 415 to Shrewsbury. Lincoln are usually challengers for that to be fair unless the trip is under an hour.
In the midst of a marathon stretch of away games (12 out of 17 away).

Since the end of October, 8 of our 11 have been on the road (and hardly down the road either at Bristol Rovers, Wrexham, Chesham, Crawley, Exeter etc). After being away again tomorrow at Bolton, we're at home twice in four days before being away again for the next three games.

Very impressive - £28 a pop and a fair distance as well - it's a wonder so many can afford to keep going to so many away games.

Ahhh yeah the distinct willy waving advantage of having shit home support.
It's a feckin mystery to me why so many STH don't turn up AND don't release the seats, which is 2 minute task online. Whether that would significantly increase walk up sales I don't know - because it doesn't happen. Tomorrow, we have about 400 home seats left, mostly singles and restricted or poor views, but we know between 500-800 decent seats won't be occupied.
It is usually at the higher end of that, and a lot more for Tuesday nights. Vale fans are saying they will bring 600, so at tops 1,000 unsold seats and 7,400 tickets sold. Attendance 6,700 is my estimate.

Nearly 1700 at MK and then over 1000 at Cheltenham 3 days later is a decent effort after such a poor run of form.
