Same, nothing posted anywhere. Sold 900+ yesterday. Hard to tell if there was more. Wouldn't say less than that though.112 Accrington at Colchester

Can't see a figure for Vale at Doncaster
This. Absolutely this. That shower of shit don't deserve that support.
Not a hope in hell there were 18,011 at the game. Attendance figures are a farce!
Yeah I've just text him and he said that he got them figures from fotmob. I don't use that app so have no idea if there figures are usually accurate or not.FotMob.
Don’t know where you find 7,000+ empty seats today, but whatever!
Cheers for the three points.
Not sure what 7000 empty seats at VP looks like or how full the stand with the cameras in was but the Bradford ends you could see had absolutely loads of empty seats. Nowhere near Donny/MK levels but still lots.Don’t know where you find 7,000+ empty seats today, but whatever!

Hang on.What's the point in even having a thread about it if it's the BBC figures you're using.

Yeah that's definitely deceptive, the stand behind the goal looked emptier on telly. Do you get extended highlights? I'll screenshot some when I watch ours to show you what I mean if it's not clear on the 2 minute goal reel (which I won't be watching today). I'm not having a dig at all by the way, firstly as I'm in no position to with our home crowds but secondly, it's more that I genuinely have no idea what the difference between say 15000 and 20000 would look like at VP. Is Wikipedia correct with regardd to your current capacity? Says 24840? I'm assuming it's actually a bit lower than that nowadays. It’s deceiving - the stands are large in capacity and stature.

It might stem from the empty NW corner, but it only holds 2,300 and there’s usually 500 or so in there, as per yesterday.
9,629 at meadow Lane with 634 Swindon fans in attendance
Absolutely wild that Notts have actually been getting 4000 home fans all season and The Viking Magpie is walking around this thread like he is on The West Wing every time Grimsby get below 7000.Hang on.
The BBC numbers are total attendance figures and I add them as a bonus cause some enjoy reading how their team are doing compared to others. Besides they are auto added to page when I download results etc.
The away numbers are solely those posted on this thread.
I cannot amend the BBC figures but can and do so with away numbers whenever challenged.
So I'll say you are getting the best of both.

Why feel the need to be critical of other peoples home attendances?. God help Grimsby if they had a 15k stadium with the 6k crowds then?. You’re sat 12th in the average home attendance table, wasn’t one of your crowds 4k the other week, does that mean over 50% empty seats?. I don’t get people’s need to claim attendances are false or mention empty seats when the home crowd is 3 times bigger than yours in Bradford’s case, almost every club in the football league goes from tickets sold, if Bradford had 18k tickets sold, of course a few people might miss each game. I think at Doncaster the figures given have seemed somewhat more representative of how many have actually been there this season, but that’s just my opinion. Truthfully though, who actually is privy to the information about which clubs go with tickets sold or bums on seats, whether that differs season to season etc…Not sure what 7000 empty seats at VP looks like or how full the stand with the cameras in was but the Bradford ends you could see had absolutely loads of empty seats. Sorry i read it wrong on the scoreboard I've found the right attendance 9,296 with 634 away fansView attachment 21325
Sky / BBC have same numbers but in different order.
Yep, it is difficult to get attendances higher than your maximum capacity, no arguments from me there. After all you'd never see 9,629 at Blundell Park nowadays even if you counted the rather generous 1,500 that are claimed to be no shows each game.
I wasn’t necessarily being critical, I was just using Donny and MK as examples of clubs who report larger attendances than actual bums on seats which traditionally you both have done. Worth noting that we're sat 12th in the home attendance table because of this kind of reporting. Like I've said before, in reality, you can bump us and Vale up a couple of positions in that table. And yep we've had some shockers of attendances over recent weeks, which I'm sure is the case for many sides in the division, but they just went unreported. I personally don't get why clubs started doing it on tickets sold rather than actual turnstile clicks as that's what it has traditionally been ever since attendances were recorded. Why feel the need to be critical of other peoples home attendances?. Posted minutes after you've liked a post that starts with the question "Why feel the need to be critical of other peoples home attendances?"Regardless of the method adopted in the words of Limerick Mariner Grimsby's home support is pathetic.
Yes absolutely absurd notion that away support gets discussed in the away support thread.I think that's harsh personally I'd say seasonally disappointing but at least they have great travelling numbers. That's what really matters after all

He's paraphrasing Limerick Mariner from a while back when he said something along the lines of Notts' until a few seasons ago frequently brought pathetic followings to BP.I'm sure he's saying it was the Grimsby fan who called your home support pathetic?

Agreed, I think it’s a shit way to do things. Tbf I’m not even sure whether Notts do it or not.Yep, it is difficult to get attendances higher than your maximum capacity, no arguments from me there.
