Based upon the Thursday night game v us I would say tickets sold. 10k was reported with 1,450 from us. Looked about 8k.

Bradford yesterday looked about 14k home fans.

Typically about 12% of our STH don't attend. The sub 4k attendance referred to above was an exceptional with about 25% not there - freezing Tuesday night, no away fans and live on TV. Anyone who thinks this won't be the norm with this TV deal is deluded.
Hmm dunno. Apparently 10,800 home fans against Walsall both big stands seemed packed and 8,600 against Swindon when there looked to be a fair few spaces, certainly in the Pavis. Can’t remember what they looked like against you but those numbers looked like people actually attending to me but happy to be corrected.

I think it’s tickets sold but those two looked right because season ticket attendance was way closer to 100%. Grimsby was in August so loads of people will have been on holiday.

Grimsby’s number of STHs not attending seems weirdly high, maybe because they’re so close to selling out generally that people think they need them even if they’re likely to miss a few games, which obviously isn’t an issue at Notts. No point unless you’re gonna go to basically everyone game cos you’ll never miss out.

Fella, I’ve held a season ticket for 24 years straight.

I know what 14k vs 16k home fans looks like.

We’ll agree to disagree.

Yes that's it, I expect we have more exile fans proportionally than other clubs (hence high away followings in the London area especially) they are probably better paid than the NE Lincs average wage, so a season ticket isn't that costly compared to income. That really shows up with Tuesday night games.

Historically, when there was a fishing industry, Tuesday nights crowds were often better - all those three-day millionaires would be out for ale, whoring, fighting and footie, although not necessarily in that order...

You mean, vastly more intelligent?

Ok, Dan!

No, I meant what I said.

Shall I put 'I have' at the beginning of the sentence to simplify it for you?

The last Bradford fan who tried to play silly buggers on a forum, suddenly went into hiding. Don't become number two. Or you'll end up in the gutter like StevieEvansRedNWhiteArmy, who I famously dispatched too.

This isn’t my first rodeo, Daniel!

not a chance are we going up. Mid table is calling and I will be happy with that and let artell do his work over a period of time
Fair enough, it’s a very close league though which hasn’t really taken shape yet. I guess aside from Walsall where you’d imagine it would take something special for them to not be top 3 now, it’s open. The league is not as strong as last season, look how Mansfield, Stockport and Wrexham have taken to league one, all strong teams. There could be a few dark horses whom make the play offs, I have a sneaky feeling Grimsby may be one of them and go all the way. One of my friends is a Grimsby season ticket holder, he was saying you're a 15/20 goal a season striker away from being a certain top 3 side, I suppose that could be said for a lot of teams in this division right!.

Oh!. I have Grimsby down as play off winners so Posh Harry may be escaping this thread next season after all!.
Nah not this season, next season is the one I think most of us are pinning our hopes on going by Artell’s history - 1st season stabilise, 2nd season build and improve, 3rd season go for the jugular.

I'd like a glorious failure this year though - a bit like the Bristol Rovers defeat.

Well if our game at Carlisle gets postponed Saturday, we will have had our three longest away trips (Barrow, Fleetwood and Carlisle) all moved to a Tuesday evening. The authorities are conspiring against us to ensure our away support is as abysmal as humanely possible this season.

You don't need the authorities for that, MK fans are doing fine on their own
