It’s odd with Northampton, they’re either wank or going for promotion. Never just somewhere in the middle

We really haven’t adjusted well to it either...everyone’s bored as fuck and can’t wait for this season to be done

How many seats did they smash?! haha
I imagine we are segregating the front of the stand to stop your lot running on the pitch, which you’ll likely try to do regardless of result. Pitch damage with playoffs only 2 weeks away would be hard to repair.

Looks set that we will sell out at some point today, is there any chance of another small batch of tickets? 250 or so more? Could still net off 150 seats then.

No due to it being unreserved seating.

Every other club seems to get around this by selling allocated seats but then not enforcing it. Certainly been the case in all the away games I’ve been to.

Definitely no chance of seats in other stands. The club is even under pressure from fans to actually hide away fans in a corner of the main stand for the playoffs.

Inevitably be some Shaggers in the home area.
There was quite a few last time and I think we had 4/500 more tickets, not sure why because it wasn't allocated seats last time?
I didn't know of any trouble last time so I can see no reason for any this time hopefully.
We had a good day out and in my opinion didn't really over celebrate on your patch? A lot of us were quite respectful of the fact that you had gone out of the league that day.

You'd like to think that it would just be a good atmosphere on Saturday. We're made up with a brilliant season and if we win, will be good to see the regular season off with 3 points at home before the playoffs. If you win then we won't be down at all but you'll also be over the moon with promotion likely. After getting beat off Oldham away and Forest Green home, the atmosphere among fans was still sky high.

No chance of you getting more tickets. Any going in the home end will have to be careful. Port Vale did that this season and got a kicking (but then again they did unveil a Vale flag!)

Yeah it’ll be our highest league gate since either;

Leeds 2007 (opening game of season) - 11,008
Hull 2005 (2nd vs 3rd) - 12,684

If home support is same as FGR game it’d best that Leeds game. Proper bandwagon behaviour, so can we get plastics jokes in nice and early please.

Kicking? We revealed a VLF flag in your end and a few punches were thrown. Have Tranmere even got a mob apart from a few scallies hanging about on corners after?

We? Please don't say you were with them?

Or were you the one running on the pitch to get away?

It was a Tranmere fan that got smacked, which is the funny irony of this garbage being posted. Ran about 3 rows of seats and got one straight in the mush.

Do love exaggerating things, Tranmere fans.

Why did the VLF go in there in the first place? Strange one as away end is big enough?

They held a commemorative flag up in memory of a good mate of mine (and tons of other lads) who had passed away not long before.

Don't think it was anything personal towards TRFC supporters. Just circumstance.

I was sat in the tier above watching it with my own eyes. A Port Vale fan got a smack, simple as.

In fact, the lad who hit him got a ban.

Couldn’t do that in the away end?

Not sure why Tranmere or Vale fans care who punched who, bit odd.

Not to be billy big bollocks, because we never sell out away games usually, but it’s a shame no more tickets will be given.. in a game where it would be good to get a high a crowd as possible. Roles revered we’d give Tranmere as many as they could sell probably, up to a point of about 3,800.

Also there’s talk of Bury fans not being able to get onto the pitch, would anyone be surprised if Tranmere fans in the main stand didn’t run on the pitch and antagonise the Bury fans if you were to beat us?

You have two empty stands at Gigg Lane. We have season ticket holders in every section of our 3 home stands who simply aren’t going to be moved. Never mind the additional police/stewarding costs making it far more hassle than its worth.

We didn’t do it for Leeds, Hull, Leicester, Norwich, Southampton so why would we do it for Bury?
