We play good football
You really should have qualified that statement with ‘sometimes’. Anyone who can get annihilated at home by Yeovil can’t be too confident. Be a good g@me at Wembley. Difficult result to call. Exeter are the best side I’ve seen live this season.

That game was when our players were playing with illness

They’ll be working off around an 800k budget. Going to be a tough summer for them but Askey seems to turn misfits into a good team.

Even on a small budget surely we are in better shape than at least two basket cases in this league.

Off the pitch we're one of the biggest basket cases of all!! Luckily our results haven't reflected this but you get the feeling that at some point it could bite us.

Having said that I think we'll do enough to stay up so hopefully we can just enjoy the ride.

If you have a decent manager with more than just "plan A" to change a game if needed, if you strengthen weak areas at the right time, and your owner has half a clue, then its not too bad a league. We didn't have any of those things under Brown.

We started well enough last season, went through a rough patch of 20 games without a win and came good at the end. Try that, I bloody hope we don't try it again though.

I don't think we'll go down or anything that drastic but I can't see us going straight back up either. I'll be happy enough if we can stay in the play off picture and have a good season overall. I think it could really rejuvenate the fan base if we have a season where we win more than we draw. Losing isn't our problem, it's drawing games that we should win and after years of nearly being relegated or finishing 15th every season, I'm looking forward to a season at the other end of the table, albeit not the table I'd like.
At the moment it's looking like Wellens is staying, which is a questionable decision but if he can sort out his tactical mistakes and learn the lessons of the previous season, he might grow into the role more in League Two. Hopefully a summer of good signings is to come.
