They're not playing well so we have to expect it. :fish:

Just kidding. Its cold enough for a geordie to wear a vest.

Some of our fans are bitching about Tuesday being too short notice. But fuck em, it’s common sense. We’d have been going over 3 weeks without a game if we hadn’t got this put on Tuesday,

Probably done us a favour games being off for us in the last few weeks. Our team looks so weak at the minute. My only hope is we shuffle the squad abit in January and come out of it abit stronger.

Donny gone now.

Is anyone else astounded, yes, astounded, that of all the games off Barra isn't one of them?

Barrow are actually using their special covers that lower the temperature of the pitch because they're not used to playing at home in conditions as warm as -3°C.

Barrow have asked their fans to bring more fireworks to throw onto the pitch. 2000 fans each bringing 1 firework, it did the trick. Pitch thawed.

Fucking great. Another turgid 90 minutes of tippy tappy, no end product football to sit through.

How come Leyton Orient are such good odds?

We've invested in a heating dome (see my earlier post) - been told the pitch is playable, only one of the side streets is a bit icy as well, so I think we will be good to go, Spurs Women played here earlier in the week as well.

Last time we was the only game on at this level was 4th January 1997 when we beat Mansfield 2-1 at home with goals from Scott McGleish and Colin West. Mark Sale cemented his place as one of my most disliked players when he shoved Danny Chapman into the advertising hoadings and got a red card for it.

I'd rather we played than have a fixture pile up. I'm not hugely confident though.

Bradford V Dale off. Would have been at least 3000 Dale fans there as well (t/m Firthy!!)

I'm glad... we are playing very poorly at the moment, and it's been freezing this week.

Tottenham bought it for you didn't they?

Was it before or after you had to let them through in the League Cup?

Tottenham B.

Still got a midday pitch inspection to come, but seems like they're confident.

Finally all the nuclear waste we buried under the pitch is coming in handy. (Shout out to Masi51, if he's still around)

My post wasn’t so much about why your game is on, rather why the bookies see you as almost evens to win :bg:

Have you seen our away form? We haven’t won north of the Thames all season. In fact we’ve only picked up 2 points outside of South London all season

We should be using the fact we aren't 4-0 down to our advantage second half. Hopefully we will come out looking like professional footballers.

Humble pie from me. Best we’ve played for a while but Barrow have been truly awful. Surely they can’t be as bad 2nd half so a pity we couldn’t capitalise with another goal.
