Imagine we’ll be geed up by the departure of Android Fletcher. Whoever scores the first goal will win, as I imagine it’ll be the only one in a dire contest.
A dire contest where both teams look awful and we lose 2-1 or 1-0, that's our specialty.

Pope is on we are about 4-1 up now! As it is 1-0 down with their only forray and we’ve failed to take one of many chances.

Unforgivable to concede like that within the opening minute. Complete lack of concentration from a number of players. Nice ball across and finish from the Carlisle player in fairness.

Outside of that we’ve threatened more afterwards.

well we are winning at half time but thats normal. If games ended at half time this season we would be in the play offs, if games were just second half we would be bottom. Fully expect this to end 2-1 to Orient.

Scunny are exceptionally basic and cynical. Terrible side. Good goal, mind. We have dominated the half, but struggling without our three best attacking players. Infinitely better than last week, mind. Ref is dire (for both sides); giving a foul every time a player ends up on the turf.

Frustrating but we should have started better than that, dominated but not been able to get the goal back.

I didn’t realise Carlisle had hired Graham Westley before kick off though? Some shocking efforts at diving and time wasting! In the main though they’ve been awful at it and the referee hasn’t fallen for it apart from McKirdy in our box when Amoo is about five metres behind him.

McKirdy winging when he’s getting nailed in tackles is quite humourous. Put shin pads on pal.

Could of gone 2 down in Carlisles only other attack but an absolutely cracking challenge stopped the one on one getting to Brown.

Need to keep the pressure up but surely if we keep creating a goal will come.

Unlikely. We’re toothless without Wilkinson and Angol.

Still pretty even, Argyle just been that bit more decisive in the final third, we're still doing that one pass too many. Might get back in it, doing just about enough. See on their forum it's defence Plymouth reckon is weak link but they've looked pretty well organised so far - the bastards :D

Stream here keeps replaying the early push on Collins after a break which might have got given just to rub it in  Looked bad at the time but could see why you might wave it away too.

A very well taken goal the difference between the sides. It's in games like this at home where the opposition play to their strengths we struggle to find that bit of quality.

I'm doubtful we will find an answer unless a tactical change can make a difference.

Good game though.

I’d say give it 10 minutes then Pope and/or Cullen on. Irritating to concede the way we did but as you say if we stick at it am sure we can score.

3-2 win at Salford. Doyle (2) and Yates with our goals. Top of what is proving to be a very competitive league.

Huge win, got a deserved equaliser then weirdly sat back inviting Carlisle onto us.
Then late on Cullen with a diving header. Top scorer and only started five in all comps!

Good example to these cheats who come and dive scoring with Wozza down injured! Just got on with it.

Horrible side Carlisle and got their just deserts for some awful antics.

Got there in the end. Credit to the team for sticking at it and not allowing themselves to get frustrated.

Thought Carlisles best football came after we equalised but a beautiful cross and header for the winner made the difference. Will say Amoo needs to get his finger out a little based on the last couple of games but other than that am happy. Hopefully Worrall is ok too and was just precautionary taking him off.

Dull. Shaded it, but really don't have the strikers to put teams away. What a waste of an afternoon.

That was a great away performance - got promotion written all over it.

He’s always injured
In fairness, the broken arm/elbow from last season has hampered him. For his own health he probably should take time off and have the op so it is sorted. But fair play to him to want to carry on playing.

Dire fayre in E10. The players looked like they wanted to be out there at least - which was a vast improvement from Android Fletcher - but we’re badly missing Conor Wilkinson up front. Scunny’s Operation Shithouse was a complete success. Dreadful going forward, but organised at the back and did all the professional stuff much better than our bunch of pretty boys.

The Port Vale promotion bandwagon has been washed off and is ready to roll.

We are going up.

Agreed, players definently bucked their effort levels up, first half we did have chances to get level I thought. Second half we badly laboured and as the half wore on we started lacking belief I thought.

The early goal we conceded wasn't what we needed and our players never fully got our heads back in the game. Scunthorpe managed the game well and took their chances.

Poor game overall though, neither keeper had much to do and the early goal meant the game never got any real zip from ourselves.

We finally did it, an away win at last. Wasn't pretty but we got it done. Orient had most of the ball but rarely threatened, played some nice stuff though. We didn't do much but put it into the back of the net and defend well.

Couple of lovely finishes to be fair, though your forward looked a yard offside for the second - lino was even fatter than the ref and nowhere near up with play.

Plymouth played well and did enough to stop us when we got within the danger zone. We were not too bad, but at home we find it hard to turn a game around.

Add to that Lowe seems to have Cooper in his pocket.

Onto the next one, sadly Joe Mills looked to have done a hamstring. Loosing Frear as well just as he was adding something extra upfront means we will have lost a definite edge and expect a mini slip in results. So little in it this year.
