Big Dunc is out at Forest Green. What is Vince doing over there?
Fcuk me. Yesterday Stale Mince has been all over the broadcasts after hiring a woman manager but tonight he's on Question Time. Big Labour Party supporter who has donated £'s to the party but also £'s to Just Stop Oil.
As chairman of FGR I wonder how he will react if some of those opposed to his views create chaos at one of his teams games. The same as he advocates & supports the miscreants spoiling the enjoyment of the general sporting public.

You should do it. Ten seconds on the pitch and a football banning order, fill your boots. Don't think the Tarquins he sponsors mind if they get barred from games.

Changes to the EFL highlights on ITV.

No pundits and a shorter format based from a ground rather than in the studio.

I did think 2 hours was a bit too long and the pundits whilst good at times depending on who it was ended up repeating themselves a lot over the course of the show.

The pundits rarely offered anything anyway.

Presenter: "A win at home for [insert League Two team], Dave."

Dave the Pundit: "Yeah they'll be happy. A good goal by the striker too."
The punditry was just a way to waste time as they turned round more of the action. I’m guessing they will instead start a bit later.

If ITV go back to the Football League Extra way of things it'll be excellent.

1 featured game from a ground.
An additional feature on another of the 72 clubs.
All goals, red cards, missed penalties and daft miscellaneous things shown from all the other games.

Punditry is a total waste of time and not needed.

Yep especially when the pundits have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about too.

He supports Labour rather than the Green Party? Shocker.

Bring back Manish and a highlights show that doesn't start until gone midnight.

I actually enjoyed the EFL highlights when they were on Quest with Colin Murray. I didn’t care too much for the highlights show on ITV last season.
Yep Colin Murray is great on stuff like that, he always used to say nice things about us too which probably helped!

He was always complimentary about Sutton which may have shaped my opinion about him. But he did come across as someone who genuinely liked Football, and cared about the culture of the game.

I find Dale Vince’s politics a puzzle too. Some of Labour’s policies are not particularly green and they appear to have ditched some of their more progressive green ones. Could understand him being a pragmatic Labour supporter; but such an enthusiast doesn’t sit neatly with his green credentials.

Look around the world. We have freedom of choice and shouldn't take this for granted. In other words, he can like the rest of us vote for who he wants. Just like you, if you think we have a wonderful government, then go ahead and vote for them again.

Please re-read my post. Like one of those I quoted, was trying to understand why Vince was such an enthusiastic Labour supporter when the policies he favours are more at one with those of the Green Party. Accept that we can all vote for who we want. As for the current lot, I didn’t vote for them the last time…

We used to have a very good local Labour MP who was also a long-time supporter and sat on our board (Dave Drew - also one of the few who came out of that expenses scandal looking good claiming next to nothing). Won't be standing again but wonder if he was an influence. Plus expect Vince would rather be influencing a likely party of government which the Greens won't be in the foreseeable.

Thanks, that approach from DV is understandable, particularly in the local context you set out. Would hope that he’d be able to use his voice within to halt something of a drift away from greener policies Labour currently considering.

He flies the flag of Palestine over the ground, which has one of the most repressive approaches to members of the LGBT+ community in the World...ten years imprisonment for homosexuality...not really something that any club should promote. Agree with you about his politics, also his values, which do seem a bit blurred to me.

I think in the round all our values are a bit blurred.

Guy I know is madly supportive of the woke culture and lgbtq but is a firm believer in capital punishment.

Sometimes you have to hold your nose to vote.

Would you prefer an Israeli flag, all they do is kill kids and steal land from Palestinians.
