Well done Yeovil, just goes to show that the mid table sides are not taking it easy, you still need to be on your game!

Possibly the worst Coventry performance I have ever seen. That is saying something as a Coventry fan. Our supposedly strong defence made mistake after mistake.

However, Yeovil were fucking brilliant. Every attack they scored. The ball was in our net 7 times today. I think they surprised themself to the extent that they were still trying to time waste at 6-2. The original Yeovil game plan went out the window!

We haven't really been good at any points all season. Many 1-0 close wins against poor sides has put us where we are. A reasonable run of form and many fans, as well as the players, got ahead of themselves.

Good on Yeovil today, probably the best away performance I've ever seen from a team at the Ricoh. Lethal.

Can't add anything more than hopefully this is a freak result and well done Yeovil. Punished us at every opportunity.

What in the name of fuck happened at the Ricoh today?

I reckon it was the manager geeing up the Yokels that they can still win the Mid-Table Championship that put the fire into them.

The Grimsby disciplinary record is bewildering.
Earlier in season they seemingly had a player sent off in every game and still have the most reds [8] in the league BUT and it is a huge BUT they only have 62 cautions [3rd lowest in league] and are 15th best/worst in disciplinary table with just 322 points.
14 teams above them with more disciplinary points. Unbelievable with all those reds.

They don’t fanny about with all the girlie, sneaky tricks. I’d have thought Yeovil would have topped the red card list.

That's because rather than bringing a player down and getting a yellow, our defence just lets them in to score instead. :2thumb:

Some videos surfacing of our players being attacked by Crewe fans yesterday... our keeper clearly punched a couple of times and Montano shoved. The failures by Crewe for crowd control is unbelievable. Oddly the press jizzed on a few fans fighting but totally failed to notice this or a steward lob a coin at Hannant!

I wouldn't really call it an assault or punch , just some fat loafer dancing about and a bit of handbags.
Problem now with pitch invasions for over exuberance ( which i totally get ) is that they descend into something worse , was it Aguero who had a bit of bother at Wigan a few weeks ago.
Won't be long before a player ( who in the main are athletic ) :conf: gives a fan a right kicking. Cantona would look like a pussy when it eventually happens.

The second pass he clearly swings and hits at the back of Hornbys head (i believe Doha who zoomed the footage has reported it?)

The chav thats goes in for Monty soon does a runner when Monty turns to him! Hornby does well not to react (as no doubt he would then be in the wrong for defending himself!) Considering Crewe fans often pleasure at being self righteous about our supporters behaviour at times this is extremely poor from them. Either way the stewarding failed massively to allow a situation where players were not protected.

If this comment isn’t made with tongue firmly in cheek I want it reporting!!

The sooner they are shut down the better. Not content with abusing young lads within their club allegedly, they are now tolerating attacking the opposition.
I bet their chairman never saw anything.

Overreaction much?

Considering Crewe fans generally go all self righteous whenever we are in trouble (and I dont recall us ever striking at a player although stand to be corrected) I would say not. We have our idiots but that on the video is very poor.

Crewe seem to be growing a distasteful section of their own, a pitch invasion through passion is ok, I see no issue with that but when it gets to striking out at opposing players then that goes way beyond acceptable.

I know a reputable scaffolder if you need something to hold your bottom lip up. I take it your bleating fans have not sent the video of a Vale fan coming onto the pitch and pushing one of our players?

Christ you'd have thought actual riots broke out at the game on Monday the way Vale fans are talking about it. It's genuinely handbags and OTT outrage. God help them if they ever played Stoke again, it'd be like World War Three... :ffs:

Three lads got arrested, few lads from both sets of supporters went on the pitch, majority of fans were impeccably behaved. This fixture attracts idiots for the obvious reason that it's a local game. These idiots won't be at Mansfield on Saturday and I'm sure most Vale's idiots won't be at their next away game too.

Move on and look forward to Saturday's fixture.

Irrelevant if it’s Crewe or FGR if one of our players is attacked by fans we’d slate them. Nothing to be bitter about as got a result that pretty much keeps us safe and got the four points wanted over Easter.

There’s a video of the incident where your player cowardly shoves Ben in the stand and one of our fans squares up but doesn’t swing for your lad... in the same video the bizzare incident with the steward plays out where he conceals his face picks up a coin and chucks it towards Hannant before sheepishly retreating into the stand.
