To be fair you are always piping up with anti Vale comments. Don’t know the ins and outs of what happened to you but most Vale fans would happily have a pint and chat about football and would blast the culprits.

Unfortunately we are seeing a few clubs Vale included with issues, Grimsby, Crewe, Lincoln at this level for example but don’t tar the decent majority who are rightly ashamed of these elements...

Not much riding on it for us but Swindon still have a shot at the playoffs, hope it’s an action-full game with some goals.

I don’t like violence at or associated with football matches. Don’t like the mob mentality you see , where people think they can do say behaviour how they like Cos they are simply in numbers and had some gary lager pre game.

You are right I have a real issue with violence at football matches. I don’t like innocent people (and they do) getting caught up in it, impacted by it, even simply intimidated by it. There is a big issue out there at certain clubs especially outside the premier league, who I believe don’t do anywhere near enough to stamp it out or at least significantly reduce it. Could Grimsby be guilty of this too like Vale?

Well yeah I get that you don't agree with violence at football as I'm sure most of us agree on that one, I just don't get why you seem to be singling out Port Vale for it, they're hardly up at Millwall or Leeds levels reputations are they?

No of course not nor Birmingham but Notts (sadly) haven’t played those clubs in the league for a long time. My only personal experience is obviously reflected by the clubs my team plays.

Surely this didn’t need explaining.

Instead of my answering questions and responding all the time, how about you answer these question.

Does Grimsby Town FC have an issue when it comes to trouble at their matches (home or away)? If yes, Do GTFC do enough to reduce the frequency of such events?

I do realise both clubs have plenty of other problems , on and off the field to present namely league positons and unpopular chairmen/boards lol.

Back to the on the pitch matters, Vale are complete turd have had a shocking season but will stay up. Whoever loses today in the big game in Cleethorpes joins Barnet in the NL abyss

I have to be honest I can’t ever recall any incidents when we’ve played Notts County. Usually one of the more enjoyable trips with decent pubs and usually decent numbers. Can’t either recall any problems with them up here, they are one of those clubs like Peterborough who seem to have a more older average fan base and turn up more interested in what real ale they can find. One of the more relaxed clubs to visit and have come to town.

Anyway onto today, Crawley at home hoping to complete a first double in over two years! Crawley out of form with Vale strangely having only one loss in 8.... but six of those were draws! Vale with one defeat at home in four months know a win will have us pretty much there. Huge game very nervous but hopefully we can get the win and force the sides behind us into needing a massive upturn en mass to catch us.

Indeed we are turd , as are 90% of this league . Including yourselves who are arguably in the worst 3 teams based on performance to come to Vale.
This league is a cess pit and anyone can beat anyone else on the day.
Our problem is we haven't had many days !

Ironically you are actually right about us yet many clubs couldn’t seem to beat us this season especially before the New Year. I still don’t know why tbh

If L2 is a cess pit I dread to think what the Confernece is like on a weekly basis
