Harry's master plan. Confuse opposition so they don't know what you are doing. Trouble is it confused Crawley players so they didn't know either. Pissed us fans off though.
Weldone done Crewe. Fully deserved win.

Note for Colchester fans. Thomas Pinault, ex Colchester, at our game today. No longer playing but looks as though he could. Just popped over from France to visit friends etc. Bloody good player in his day.

I used to absolutely love Pinault, he was class. Hard to think he was only 17 when we brought him over from France, think his drinking and smoking caught up with him eventually! Used to love a 30-yard screamer too. What a player.

Coventry were good today, but by God we were embarrassing.

Time for Johnson to go methinks. If you can't get the players motivated then why are you even in a job.

He really has taken us as far as he can, and the relationship is beginning to get toxic. His constant digs at the fans ain't helping either. We're going to have our lowest season ticket total in years if he stays, and that's a crying shame for someone who worked wonders in getting us up at the first time of asking.

McCann had near enough a 40% win ratio in around 100 games in charge of Peterborough, it's a decent record at a higher level. Steve Evans has been doing much worse with them since he took over.

Sounded as though we could've got a point today, but we failed to show up for the first half, again. This season, particularly away from home, we've been well under par in first halves before being far better in the second.

Cowley also took of our in-form striker, Frecklington and Woodyard in the second half so that probably tells you how he's approaching next weekend although would've been nice to sort it today.

This is typical of the crap we have to put up with and the losing battle against our current dictatorship. This was a former director and now senior manager called Clive Robinson who is in charge of all catering at Huish Park. He's an absolute bellend and there have been numerous complaints about him that the club have done nothing about. What hope have we got with people like this running our club?

Not much mentioned about our game , hardly surprising. But for a dead rubber Carlisle looked a very decent side. We had one or two newbies and were abject as per 75% of the season but even so one of the best sides i've seen.

Large sections of the fan base seem to be losing their shit over it, it was an experimental side so was always risky we'd get beat but worth a look at these players with zero to play for? Lets be honest finishing 8th or 22nd doesn't really have relevance in terms of next season so its what it is.

Im just glad the season is effectively over and we are out of our misery for a few months at least.

It probably helped that it was a dead-rubber. Our best run of form this season that gave us a sniff of making the play-offs came after we'd written ourselves off. Depends how physical Vale were too, if they weren't a physical side then we'd have played better because we often struggle when there's elbows flying around and argy-bargy, didn't I see something a few weeks back that Vale were top of the fair-play table, we're pretty high on it ourselves. Finally with our players knowing that there will be a new manager next season, who may have been watching the game, they'll have wanted to impress.

We have had a few reds including Saturday which i genuinely Arsene Wenger like didn't see. But in general most of our side couldn't tackle a fish supper. Aside from Pope and Howkins from WBA , the rest are a bit weedy .
As VF16 said i guess our side was quite experimental and he is right 16 th or 21st makes no odds, totally awful season .

I only ever buy programmes at away games now, but when I was younger I used to get a programme every game I went to, I must have hundreds of em still in my old bedroom at my Dads house.

Noticed a couple of the non-league sides round our way now only offer a programme online on Pitcheroo to get round their regs (or maybe they've made a change at league level?), probably was a bit much to produce for a side like Shortwood. Should think league sides could still keep collectors and a local printer happy, not that I ever buy one.

Typical costs for matchday programmes are around £1.40ish per unit at lower league level and they sell for £3. Sure, you factor in ones that are put into the dressing rooms and so on but there's no reason why they should not be profit-making, even before advertising is considered. Sounds to me like Charlton need a new commercial guy.

It's a tricky one. I'm amazed programmes have lasted as long as they have. What about them do people find useful anymore? The managers comments? The notes on the opposition? The stats and results? The league table? All of this can be found on phones/tablets/computers. What do you get in a programme that you can't for free online? I'd be interested to see the numbers clubs sell their programmes at compared to what they were 10-20 years ago. There has to have been a significant drop off, surely?

Reading our programme is like watching ITV2. There might be something good in there but can you be bothered to wade through all of the crap, just on the off chance? I'll keep my £3 thanks very much.

Our programmes are pretty good. Interview with a player, segment on the past, lots of info on the opposition and various other articles. A lot better than some others I’ve seen!

We got some awards for ours a few years ago, but from the beginning of the year we've outsourced it to Ignition Sports Media seem to generally do the PL and Cup Final ones.

Went through a phase of putting them in PDF format as well at one point, which was better.

Ours is a good read and has won several awards so don't see it being stopped anytime soon.

We only put ours up from £2 to £3 a couple seasons back. You can also make a small saving by buying a season subscription to them. It's pretty standard fare, the main thing I read are the chairman's and manager's comments, often there's something in there between the lines and the columnist Paddock Patter.
