Just wondering how long AFC are going to keep this superb level of childish pettiness going for? I’m all for it btw

After being given some stick early season big Dave has won Manager of the Month for a second time in a row also, finally winning over the fan base.

TV Fixtures for January and February are out so plenty of movements.

For us

Swindon Away now 12:30 KO on Saturday 8th Feb.

Notts County at Home moved to a Thursday Night the week after, could of been a big attendance for that one but will likely impact home and away I expect which is a shame. :ffs:

And in true manager of the month style, the curse struck next game.

Vale away on a Thursday and Grimsby 12-30 is shit, but not as shit as Gills away 12-30. People say fuck off sky but I say fuck off our own clubs for voting for the deal.
Short sighted by the clubs. Attendances are going up and more TV is an impediment to that and any money from the deal will likely just inflate wage bills across the division.

Three horrible ones. That’s going to kill our following to Vale.

Everytime a vale game gets moved to a night match it knocks 1500 to 2000 home fans of the crowd. Usually get 6500 home fans th n what away team brings, against Colchester total crowd was something like 4500 odd thats how much it affects vale a third of the home support won't be able go now. Probably halfs notts county away following also. The Swindon game won't matter not many vale fans will go that shit hole ever.

If it’s a top of the table clash by then and neither have dropped off we shouldn’t loose to many, might be one where we try something like we did for Burton that time.

Will hit the away following. Frustrating as they’ve done the same with the Crewe game and moving the Walsall game to lunch time might have an effect so arguably the three likely biggest games away attendance wise have taken a pounding there.

I thought the deal was games wouldn’t be moved to night matches initially? But I see a few disgruntled fans, Shrews v Wrexham for example a Thursday too.

Ridiculous. Just scrap the 3pm black out and put them all on TV and leave the fixtures where they are.

Sky don’t care. Putting the local games in the Thursday night slot like Notts v Grimsby early season still means there is a reasonable crowd. We took 1,500 and the home support wasn’t completely decimated so it was still a reasonable atmosphere even though the attendance was probably 4k down from what it would have been on the Saturday. Shit for the fans - some still go but lose a decent day out on the Saturday, others can’t go.

our game is an early ko we have already sold 1500 so should at least sell the initial 2000 you have given us possibly more.

Different though as its your cup final these days since DC left for us, hence the more than doubling your followings to us from before that.

Stockport County.
Has Stocky seen this?

Fuck me he’ll have a coronary.
I'm really pleased for Grimsby and the supporters.

Artell has shown to be unreal at grinding out excellent away wins so far this season.

The next phase is for him to implement a front foot style, which will help what is quite poor form at Blundell Park.
