456 sold was reported today. Need that result v Crewe tomorrow and we could sell out the 650. Will be well over 500 anyway.

It's a very nice bit of symmetry with the Yowth drawing the Fancy Dans Yowth at Blundell Park. As we have that history with Spurs not fancying their "Tuesday night at Grimsby", as we did with West Ham Wets who we disposed of in the last round. If we get through it must be Everton at home to complete the holy trinity of our best "Tuesday night(s) at Grimsby". M'Wall beat us last year at this stage last season after we had beaten Forest, it was a 'Wall fan that wrote the book...I think we have an Only Connect question in there somewhere...

Our youths were knocked out of the cup by QPR in midweek. Seemingly our talented bunch played really well but lost 3-1. Joel McGregor, our 18 year old Left Back is already impressing in the first team and we're likely to punt him in Jan, sadly.

It’s a real shame, he’s a potentially really good player. Obviously goes into Vale folklore for that goal at Wembley and scoring within moments of coming on in his debut against Brentford in the FA Cup and would have loved him back with us but doesn’t really seem to have pushed on.

I've just read the statement, Tbh not far off what Scott Brown said when he left. We all wish him well, his honesty was refreshing and believe me he was very popular within the club and fans. Good luck Charlie, your well off being away from the c....running the club. Ps hope the Christmas Dinner for your old man tomorrow is shit, shame for the rest of new found buddies

Got to say the club have moved unbelievably quick. Like it was a done deal last week... Anyway I wish Pete Wild all the best and he'll have all Cod fans behind him.Should be good atmosphere on Boxing Day
