Cambridge away. I reckon we'll rotate and give some of the young ones a game. I suspect we'll be bowing out of the cup early.

One of our fans just pointed out we haven't scored from open play in over 10 hours obviously stretching back to last season, lets hope tonight is the night.

A few changes for us one of them enforced by our keeper being a bit nuts.

Apparently it’s DC’s 500th game as a manager tonight so congrats to him on that. Not bad going as he’s relatively young still for a manager.

Four changes for Mansfield, he’s dropped Perch presumably to protect him for Saturday, but that probably means we are playing McLaughlin at CB which is good going considering he’s played at left wing most of his career!

Both strikers dropped too, front two of Bowery and Oates.

7 changes to our squad today. Which I approve of. James Phillips bbcrc reckons we'll line up

Jensen
Tanner Feeney Armer
Charters Riley Guy Dixon Bell
Toure Mampala

Loooot of youth in that line up. Think at 26, Gime Toure is the elder statesman of our team

We have decided to play 3-5-2 tonight, a formation we have a 0-9 record under Cox when using.

I wonder what the result might be

No Conlon in the squad is a worry

I’m not reading too much into it as would have left him out myself, same for Rodney too. Nice to see Gibbo on the bench though.

Rumours that Nombe is injured so Seymour is up front. I'm not hopeful

So heartwarming to see the Salford fairytale continue.

Harrogate now made to forfeit against Rochdale. Right decision I reckon.

We've put out a team with an average age of 19 years and 8 months against the likes of Billy Sharp... doesn't seem to be working so far, even though Sheff United have several teenagers of their own

Been again frustrating! Sunderland haven’t threatened barely but took their chance, we’ve played some good stuff but isn’t clicking up top although a stone Waller on Wozza not given.

Yeah. Getting through on a bye is hollow but I don’t think either club could really fit a rearranged game in. Hoping for Burnley or Everton away in round 2.

We lost to 1-0 to 10 man Crewe, didn’t go, so can’t comment, sounded like we had plenty of the ball and chances, as you’d expect against 10 men but couldn’t get a goal, never mind.

That half a yard tap in for Proctor there nearly went badly wrong the way he had to set his feet. Back in it though. Having seen a clip of the penalty decision I’m not one to have a go at referees but…..

Case of one not given and one given wasn’t it.

We’ve scored a goal at least!

Wycombe down to ten men through injury. Shame we have no prospect of scoring an actual goal though

Penalty to Salford was three yards outside the area. Even the refs love them!

Youth striker Eden Bailey makes his first appearance for the club… good to see, was on the bench at Bradford when we were down to the bare bones but now gets his chance.

To the surprise of nobody we lost without scoring, who would have guessed.

Sounds like we are really giving Sunderland a bit of a fright late on even if I suspect we’ll probably lose now. At least it seems like we are getting Worrall further up the pitch.

Lost 3-2. Took an early lead from Donovan Wilson, dominated much of the first half but conceded a sloppy goal a few minutes before halftime.

Cardiff got a 2nd 5 minutes into the 2nd half, and controlled the game well. They got a third in the last 10 minutes before Coby Rowe scrambled in a 2nd for Sutton. Nearly equalised in injury time but it wasn’t to be. A decent performance by Sutton, and I’m a bit gutted we lost that

Unlucky to lose that, mix of poor referee, great save and missed chances. 15 shots is progress on Saturdays effort at least.

Not arsed to be out if im honest but need to start winning games.
