What was he, about the 5th/6th longest serving in the top 4 divisions?

Respect Dickie.

Jackie McNamara is now fave for the City job. Like Abbott this is based on the fact that he has been interviewed. Theres no serious money on them though. Dundee .U. fans speak very lowly of McNamara. Still hoping that Clough may drop down to our level, but there is still the possibility he will get the Forest job should it become available. He did speak to our chairman last week apparently.

In conclusion we still have no idea.

I've a feeling York will be on 3 before the end of the season.

Think Hendon will be the next to go
Moniz has to be close to the chop it their results don't pick up. They were touted as automatic promotion contenders at the start of the season, playoffs minimum.

Murray could potentially be off, Not sacked though. Hope there is nothing in the rumours he is in the frame for the Walsall job. He speaks so passionately about what he is building here so I'd hope he would stay anyway if they did approach.

I didn't think we could actually get worse, but we have. It looks a disaster so far, but Jackie Mac surely gets the January window to try to fix the glaring issues with our squad.

We don't have a game Saturday so there's a bit of time for the new loanees to bed in, but if we take another battering at the Gas the writing will be on the wall I think.

Darren Way is our Interim Manager as Skivo didn't fancy doing it again. Weasel's said he's interested in the permanent job but I don't think he'll be good enough. I would be ecstatic to be proved wrong though.

He's under increasing pressure from the fans but, from what i've heard, there's very little chance of Trew sacking him. Apparently likes that he has some sort of long term vision (whatever it is) and what he's doing beyond the first team.

I think there's still a chance of us going on a good run, we just need to grind out an away win from somewhere. We're not even playing that badly away now really, it's just become a confidence thing where as soon as something goes wrong we collapse. We're capable of some really good, attacking football but only on our own nice, big pitch and when the opposition don't press.

I just wish we hadn't been so ambitious and gung-ho withour signings in the summer, to be honest. We made this big noise about the likes of McLeod, Stead and Swerts but I don't think we'd be any worse off without them. Our best players have been youngsters like Hewitt, Campbell and Burke, who are clearly improving as players under Moniz, which is probably why we'll stick with him as that was supposed to be the point in the first place.

It's a balancing act because I reckon a competent lower league manager would get this squad into the play-offs, but then when we go on a bad run they'll get sacked and we won't have actually gone anywhere.

Darren Way now confirmed as permanent manager. No problem with that myself, he knows the club inside out, it's in his blood. We might lack quality but we won't lack passion and fight.

Sorry -- But I think that is the biggest mistake Fry could have made. You needed someone from outside on a contract to end of season with the provision keep us up you have the opportunity of a longer contract. + a certain amount of money for Jan. EG Ian Holloway.

Never going to happen though. Fry doesn't spend money, Way was always going to be favourite as he's the cheap option.

Is it easy to alter the graphic if Sheridan ends up leaving Newport for Notts County?
