Cheltenham will beat us on Monday, with all the talk about them being as good as down and the fact they're managed by Gary Johnson, who seems to get one over Westley every time the two meet, it's absolutely bound to happen.

Hartlepool were dead and buried by most on here this time last month. I have a feeling lots will change, We will probably lose Monday and will certainly lose against Plymouth and then we will go into the Tranmere game on the back of 5 defeats. Not exactly a great run of form to go into our biggest game since we came out of the Conference in!

See above. If Mansfield do go into their game with Tranmere having lost the previous 5, a win for the Stags is on the cards. I was hoping by this game you'd have little to play for, but the York debacle put an end to that.

I think we will beat Luton, and get beat by Southend, meaning the Mansfield match will be massive, especially looking at their upcoming fixtures.

£10 coaches being put on by the club to Southend, so hopefully we should take a decent number down, and im sure a few will be planning on going to Mansfield.

How much does the Tranmere away end hold? Could be the biggest crowd at Prenton Park for years if you need to win to stay up and we need a win to go up.

I think officially its 2300, but with the amount of broken seats i dont know. Bradford were the last team to sell out, on the last game of last season, think they had around 2000. Hopefully we both need a draw and can to some sort of agreement.

I've just put my predictions for the final 6 fixtures into an online predictor thing. No scorelines, just HOME WIN, DRAW, or AWAY WIN.

This is what's it's come out with...

I've probably been slightly harsh on York if I'm honest, but they do have some tough games ahead.

I just hope Cheltenham, Tranmere and York/Hartlepool don't pick points up Monday and next weekend. With our next 2 games we won't pick any up. Then we are left with Tranmere H Cambridge A Pompey H and Accrington A.

Not a bad last 4, 2 of them below us and 1 sit 2 points above as it stands.

Looking at some of the other fixtures Tranmere's don't look kind, and bar Cambridge at home nor do Cheltenham's. We just need points ASAP, If we could get 3 somehow on Monday then I think we can say we will be safe.

I think we will struggle to have a shot on goal tomorrow, let alone a win!

Tenner on the coach is worth tolerating Audrey for - I certainly wouldn't be going otherwise. Hope they do an offer for Plymouth too (if we're not already down).

If i was able to i would be tempted. Looks like Mansfield will be the last match i make it to this season, unless Bury is massive and i might have to make special arrangements.

Mansfield's the one I can't get to - can't find a train back to York.

I feel like i have an obligation to go as i cant make most Saturday games, so ive persuaded my girlfriend to come with me. Not sure she quite knows what she's in for.

Remember taking my ex to Oldham the year we were top of league one. She had no idea what was going on, but hey, we won. Couldn't persuade her to go again though.

We're basically relying on other teams not catching us, ie not getting 6/8 points more than us. I reckon one win would probably be enough but we're really struggling to get it.

If BOTH Pools AND Tranmere win today AND Mansfield lose then , and only then will Mansfield have to start worrying, can you really see Luton losing 8 on the bounce?

Yeah but I didn't think they'd lose 7 in a row either! But I do take your point.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Busy weekend so been unable to comment really.

It is amazing how quickly 1 second can change things to be honest......................probably why we all do like football.

was in York on a trip on Friday and checked the scores in the 90th minute and to be fair i seen us gone as we were losing at home, all others were winning or grabbing vital points apart from Cheltenham and thought the physiological blow would be massive on both us and Chelts last weekend and be extremely hard to recover from.

then of course by time i get home i find we've nicked a very undeserved point from next to nothing at the death and while really a draw last round was a poor day for us and a better day for Pool, Tranmere and York, the big positive is of course that massive lift the place gets from those last gasp boosts and if it can be used for the next game it suddenly turns things into our favour..............of course its whether Carlisle use that big positive boost today is the key.

we didn't 2 weeks ago in same situation, a very morale boosting performance against morecambe and going into a game vs a badly out of form Oxford side which i expected to see us kick on from, but we showed why we are fair candidates for relegation with a worthless performance and terrible result, they get another chance today so its whether our players this time around put in that fight and effort to get out of it or carry on their poor bland effort.

Anyone in here got the butterflies yet. Have to say I'm not missing that feeling this season.

I have. This season has been a nightmare. The number of very late goals we've given away is ridiculous. Every other game seems to involve us hanging on for a draw or victory only to let one in in the 90+3rd minute or so. Added to that is the fact that every third game we put in an utterly inept performance just when we think we're turning the corner.

I've been saying for months now that we won't go down, but the thought of 'what if you're wrong' is always on my mind. Obviously no one wants to see his club go down, but in our case it's slightly different as I don't think any club promoted from the conf has gone straight down. We certainly don't want to be the first!
