So with Cheltenham basically down, who goes down with them?

Cambridge or tranmere look good candidates right now, but nobody is safe, we certainly aren't[/

An excellent point for us given other results.

8 points ahead with five to play with our goal difference should be enough, right? Please. ;-)

Very happy with our point today given other results, Mansfield look on a real downwards spiral and could get sucked in.

Come on Boys, one win and you'll finish above us.

We won't win another game all season

That should do it for us. Good as 9 points clear with our goal difference and five to go.

Phew.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Well there was the Carlisle answer.....................shocking.

We MUST sack Curle tomorrow, he's proving exactly why 4 other clubs got shot of him, he doesn't know what he's doing............why the f*ck did our inept board not question appointing someone as such sacked by 4 clubs in 10 years!!

As ive said before we are clearly not Upto much, but carlisle tranmere hartlepool and carlisle lost games they should be getting something.

We would sucked in if any of those sides actually had it in them to suck us in.

We said before we had Southend say Shrewsbury at home and Plymouth away that if we are still 4 clear of the relegation zone it would be amazing - we've tranmere and portsmouth at home and Cambridge and accrington after that.

The laughters that went around the clubhouse at Mansfield at them 4 losing games they shouldn't were quite hardy.

Id like you to stay up (as long as we do aswell), but your result today is a shocker given how much there was to play for. You really have to question the desire of your players.

Big blown opportunity for us, stevenage were woeful but we just couldn't find the net and in the end that clown of a ref took a point from us by giving the softest penalty you'll ever see. And that Kennedy kid who scored it is a right little shit, hope he gets a career ending injury sooner rather than later

That result feels like two defeats!

Unbelievably we are still 4th bottom, but after listening to that I don't think we have enough to stay up. Players lack passion and desire, and most are simply not good enough.

Many fans calling for Curle to be sacked/to resign, but I can't see it happening. He didn't even come out for his post match interview.

Dag & Red next up for us, following their 4-0 thrashing of Wimbledon today.

We've taken 0 points from Carlisle, 1 from York, 0 from Cheltenham, 1 from Hartlepool, 1 from Mansfield (with 1 to play). Anyone who thinks we are staying up is deluded. Vanarama National League here we come! (What a shocking name change!).

Get ready to have a laugh at the expense of our manager. Some quotes from the interview he just did:
'I'm telling you now, the players cannot handle the criticism from the supporters'
'There is no spirit in that changing room, they are weak'
'There are players in there who don't deserve to be professionals'

I'll be seriously, seriously shocked if we stay up now, and i've been trying to stay optimistic all season. I know we're still three points clear so our only hope is that the teams below us don't pick up any more than 6 points so that we have a chance come the last day. Honestly though, I think that interview could be the final straw. Unbelievable stuff, it really is.

Quite brutal and will probably destroy any remaining morale, but also truthful. Same can be said about Curle himself, not good enough.

We have tranmere at home a week tomorrow, avoid defeat in that and I think we will be ok.

Lose, and we will be right back in it

"Re Brough absence, Curle said it was an off-field matter (ie not an injury) that kept him away today and club would make a statement on it" this just gets worse and worse.

If we're 1 point ahead of Hartlepool and Carlisle with 1 game to play, we're safe

I knew Easter would be difficult for Pools; I'm pleased that we are still out of the bottom 2, it seems to between the 4 that are there now; Carlisle must have the least confidence of the 4, I can see why Mansfield are worried, but it's going to take some unlikely results before you are well and truly embroiled, there is a chance 1 of Pools Carlisle or Tranmere may only have 4 or 5 points in them, sorry if I've written off Cheltenham but they do have some tough games ahead

Those are appalling statements to make and at this stage a huge mistake. That's as good as the dressing room lost, you don't do that in public.

We outplayed shrewsbury today and made them look average.... if Oliver could be arsed and had bingham at the side of him for more than 5 minutes we would of won easy.

A point next week and a win against tranmere and we'll be fine.

Johnson was making similar comments in 2011.

It looks like as you were - Cheltenham do not seem to be able to buy a win at the moment. I feel we are quickly seeing the pack narrow - Cambridge and York are closing in on safety, Mansfield will be bang in trouble if they lose their next two.

We have the least confidence because we are the worst.

Finally fans are starting to wake up and smell the stench of the shite we field every week.

This is the worst team in the league by a mile. I'm still predicting a bottom place finish, but Cheltenham are making a good job of letting us off the hook with that.

Bottom 2 is an absolute certainty.

Thought today would be our hardest fixture in the run in,and was right.
Southend should have been out of sight in the first half & losing Hughill was a huge blow.
2nd half it was allPools & we deserved a point.
TRanmere getting beat softened the blow as I thought they would win today.
Roll on York next week.

if.......big word that but cuts no ice, truth is Mansfield tried to bully us so we just played your game and came out on top ...just. It was an awful pitch as well so not much point trying to play football.
However, I do think Mansfield have enough to stay up

We actually weren't very good. Least deserved 4-0 you'll ever witness

You certainly didn't come out on top through your doing, it was just us causing problems for ourselves. It had a 0-0 written all over it. That performance typified our season - better side for long stretches, 1 stupid mistake and a lack of creativity up top did for us
