What are you talking about ? The Notts fans on here are as critical about our club as any other fan is about there own during bad times ! What the hell are you reading ? Please put down the cheap booze

I know exactly the situation regarding the stadium , who owns it , the term , how much the set rent is for each division in the football league . I doubt it goes up when we drop into non league haha . That’s what was being questioned after all .

And please you are the last person who can talk about disrespect after some of your previous posts especially the ones aimed at your fellow Staggies
Not on about notts fans ,on about YOU and please enlighten us about my posts about my fellow staggies you are talking bullshit ,or prove me wrong ,i wont wait for your response

For what it’s worth, the perpetual lease we had on our ground was actually protection for us against it being sold when we were non league and on our knees (ie as long as we didn’t go bust and paid the rent, we’d be able to play there). On top of that, when you get promoted to the FL you have to demonstrate that you have a ground to play in for the next x years (I want to say 10 years but please correct me) and a long term lease obviously safeguards that.

So a leased ground, while not ideal and clearly less value that an owned ground, does have some value for a club when it’s in the shit.

Yeah I believe it’s ten years, because I remember we had some problems with Haslam still owning it and only having two years left on the lease and therefore not being available for promotion.

Put it this way, we actually got kicked out our ground by Baliffs at one point during our non-league stint, luckily snow called the games off while it was sorted out.

So yeah it’s better in a friendly trust lease than Keith Haslam slimy hands.

Hardy was on local news tonight looking in a very poor state of health. I'm glad he's selling up more for his own sake than his actions as chairman. No football club is worth getting into that state for.

Very true Kim you have to remember the human side to all this especially when it involves people’s health

Completely agreed, I'm sure he started with the best intentions but is seeing it fall apart around him. Fair play for fronting up and yet another warning of the perils of social media.

Turns out other than Notts County fans being a lot older (bedwetters) generally County and Mansfield fans are actually similar. Imagine that, especially consider the huge distance between the two :dk:

I can think of a couple other major differences haha

Owen Oyston. Now he's different.

Hardy is an emotional, knee-jerk type Chairman whose heart seems to be in the right place but all that gets in the way of sound decision making.

His ego has been partly his downfall too. He just couldn’t stay off Twitter despite it being obvious to anyone it wasn’t doing him any good. He appeared to place way too much emphasis on the views expressed on there, probably resulting in our supposed ‘change of style’ and the sacking of Nolan.

I don’t know it all not even close , but I do when it comes to stadium lease finance at NCFC .

Plus when someone is guessing or plain wrong it needs highlighting . The truth shall prevail
