League 2 Relegation Thread 2018/2019

If County lose the next game after that victory I cannot see them recovering again.

Strange to say this because they are not in the relegation spots but I think Yeovil are the most likely to go now.

Apart from local rivalry who in their right mind would want County relegated in favour of Macclesfield.

Yeah, I get it - but where’s the joy in beating Macc instead of possibly beating your rivals. Anyway, be careful what you wish for. Clubs of County’s Ilk who have gone out of the league have come back much stronger.

I can’t blame him tbh, 40 (FORTY!!) years+ of mi amigo having to witness Mansfield play very much second fiddle and be the little brother to Notts is going to catch up with you and turn you nasty eventually. If I was a Stags fan I would want Notts to get relegated to experience Non-league football. If I’m being honest we deserve to go down purely for our off field embarrassments and performance let alone our general powder puff inept on field displays. Plus he and Mansfield fans are long overdue a day in the sun, or at least a little sunshine. Promotion to L1 and our relegation to NL would finally see some strong rays in North Notts

Funnily enough it could be one of the disappointing home 0-0s we’ve seen at home recently (would have been 3 in a row were it not for Exeter’s last kick winner) that could finally lift us out the drop zone with Yeovil away at Swindon and Macc facing in-form Morecambe.

I've been following this all season and Macclesfield have been in the bottom 2 all season. I feel they must/should/ought to beat Morecambe, but it will probably be a draw. I can see them escaping the bottom 2 on the final day of the season.
