Not got the happiest of memories of games at Sixfields. Last time we went there thought we were somehow about to shithouse our way to a draw before some 30 yarder in the last couple of minutes. Think that was the night knew we were going to go down from League 1.

Fasan was utterly hopeless. One of the stream of utter garbage we had in goal between Alnwick and Brown. Mehmet who was on the bench was somehow worse than Fasan.

Looking at that Vale squad with one or two exceptions would say they are somehow even worse than this current one.

I haven't felt a buzz before a game like I have for this one for a long time. It's like a massive weight has been lifted off the club, so many fans who have been boycotting are going back, it's a fan appreciation day with everyone getting a free drink etc., such a good feeling about the place. We just need to do the business on the pitch and I think we will. We've had the players to do it all along and now their confidence has been lifted they'll play with freedom and belief.

Still looks a three team league, Notts goal difference is like a deducted poimt, Macclesfield have a game in hand, win that and they're out the bottom two.

Good 3 points today with Podge and Bennett missing. Thought we soaked up the pressure well enough first half. Started to take control after about 35-40 mins and dominated second half. Yeovil looked like a team with a new manager buzz 1st half. Huffed and puffed without creating much to worry Day. Not sure who you have left to play but you did remind me of us during the Westley period. With exception of Mugabe there isn’t too much quality there. Would be worried especially as Macc and Notts are picking up points. We are now mathematically safe and still just about in the hunt for 7th. Tranmere and Swindon at home next Sat and Tues.
